The driver of that car, that 82 years old lady, had an hearth attack at that moment. That's why she had that accident, because her legs, her body, went in a bad cramp, causing her to floor the gas pedal and not be able to turn the wheel around.

I just saw this on The Indestructibles. I don't really get why everyones calling him a hero. He was obviously gonna get hit so lets go over the options here, get hit head on, throw the baby at the car to slow it's momentum, or try to protect your son. I think the choice is clear. What an amazing person, As for the elderly women, I honestly respect old people having said that, I live in a small town with a huge percentage of drivers over the age 65 and there are so many elderly people crashing. When you are walking across the crosswalk sometimes old people will drive at you not even seeing you. We have had several cases of old people crashing into structures. Its a touchy subject.
