in expo 2010 yemen only had a section which is basically a bazaar. the people had really nice smiles though

You're right about the title for we don't call that traditional white weapon as a "knife"
NO, the local name is Janbiyyah , named after Janb which means "side" cuz we hang them on our waist side mostly as a costume uniform.
