ya actually rollerblade skates are getting pretty good and if you only buy the boot then you should be good. the great thing about rollerblade skates is that they are really costumisable. on top of that they can last about 2 seasons. i have a friend who has had the same rollerblade skates for a good 3 or 4 years. so they are a good bet.

rollerblade has started putting a lot of padding in their skates now. but if i were you i would really save up and get some razors. they are the best skates for begginers all the way to pros. but rollerblade it really costomisable and razors are the not so much but are great just the way they are.

I don't understand why people go back and forth talking shit about skateboard this and rollerblade that. I used to skate (blade) with Alex in the mid-nineties. He was the shit then and obviously is still fucking awesome. Skateboarders would sometimes give us shit. Alex would use one of their boards, roll down the street and bust out kickflips wearing his rollerblades. Most of the time he could skateboard better than the kids in our area. Two different sports equally cool in their own respects!
