memphis is the main hub (domestic and international) followed by indy and oakland. mini hubs are AFW (Dal/Ft Worth) Anchorage Alaska and I believe one or two more. A new hub is being built in China (international)... At least from what I'm told I work the Denver Ramp (DENR) five nights a week.

I have had the classic Wayne's World moment at the FedEx hub in Memphis. Some friends and I laid on top of our car and watched every plane land over head every 15 minutes for a 3 hour spread. It is amazing! Great video!

The compilation was made by a friend of mine from our Air force days and we're both FedEx pilots now. As you might notice there are two main arrival/departure periods, or hubturns, the traditional one starts at around 11pm and ends the launch at around 4am. The daytime turn is a little longer and starts in the morning and ends around 5-6 pm. Other hubs in the FedEx system that you can observe are Indianapolis about half the size of Memphis, and Los Angeles and Fort Worth with a few flights.
