Surprised that you can still make cognitive thoughts and express them without blabbering after eating one of those. I eat a Habanero and my mind turns to jelly for the next 5 minutes XD
@TheEsotericDesi In the right conditions anything from 1 to 3 weeks. Soil temp must be kept warm though, are you using heat mats / heated propagators?
@JustNyoh Yes quite a bit hotter, the scorpion butch T is still the official worlds hottest chilli measuring at 1.46 million SHU, the ghost pepper ranks at about 1.04 million SHU.
@paulmtonkin Jesus Christ. Power to you, I see all these people eating a ghost pepper and going full retard and you chug down one that's quite a bit hotter with what looked like ease.. ill like & fav the video for that
@TonyisepiC Ghost pepper (Bhut Jolokia) used to be the hottest, but since then this and the Infinity, Naga Viper, and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion have surpassed it.
@jengman81 Get them planted asap if you want a decent crop this year, it will take 4-5 months for the first smaller pods to appear then 6-8 months to get a full crop. mine were still producing pods into November last year and I planted early Feb so you should be fine :)
What are you going to do w/ these? I just bought a plant, and I'm trying to figure out how to cook it. I'm for sure NOT going to eat one on YouTube. ;-)
@stringendo1 I cook with superhots, including these, all the time, they make for very flavourful chilli-con-carne especially. They are best if cooked for a longer period of time as this tones the heat down. Also i have made them into suaces and dried them to make fresh powders - my favourite use for them.
@paulmtonkin So do you have to cook them in full HAZMAT gear, as some websites I've seen have suggested? I can see wearing gloves & maybe goggles, but that all seems a little extreme.
@stringendo1 LOL not at all, I do wear gloves if I'm chopping up or deseeding lots of them, but that's about it. I usually keep the kitchen door shut and window open when cooking with them to stop the fumes from getting to the rest of the house, but only since my little one was born.
@shutterofmouths Why have you uploaded a video of 5 guys dancing with their shirts of to "It's Raining Men"?!!!! Maybe you should look at your own activity before passing judgement on someone elses?!!
^^^^^^ who is this guy?! check him out! Another example of societies failures. I think you'll find you are the only idiot around here. Just one of YouTube's many i'm afraid. A redneck man rapist :(
Pepper heat is 60% genetics and 40% climatic conditions. So peppers grown in somewhere like Oz or New Mexico will be hotter. Not to say that a pepper grown in the UK wont be extremely hot. It seems as though @shutterofmouths is just a wind up merchant who goes round YouTube annoying people and trolling videos. Quite sad really.
@mattydeakin First of all dickhead, everything I said is based on scientific fact. Ok. And you should also know that the facts that I mentioned, are from a study done by New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute. So don't pop your smartass mouth off at me without having some facts of your own to back you up. What is sad, you snot nosed gender bender, is that your mother didn't just swallow the night your dad squirted your ass out.
@TheShutterofMouths Says the guy who's got a video of a man being raped on his YouTube channel. We don't all want to share your sordid fantasies thanks. Weirdo.
@mattydeakin No bitch, says New Mexico State University....and for a guy who posted a comment about how good looking the shirtless guys are in a exercise video, as you did...your awfully cocky

@mattydeakin i'm lmfao @you dude....I made you look like an idiot....lolol....better luck next time...lolol....you're a raging queer who flirts with shirtless dudes....lolol....busted...lolol....You know i'm right you little prissy bitch...lolol....better luck next time....lolol
hey .. well done you did a great job ... i eat these peppers daily but i don't put a whole pepper in my mouth and chew it ...lol but i grew up eating hot pepper and i eat it with food ... well done lad
@trinimankyle456 Thanks alot, yes they are definitely not meant for chewing up whole like this. I use them for cooking too along with the other trinidad superhots, I love them all especially dried and powdered, such a powerful flavour and great burn :)
The peppers this guy eats are not anywhere close to the true heat level of the strain. Simply put, peppers grown in Britain are not as hot as the same pepper grown in Trinidad. The SHU is drastically lower in as a result of British climate. Sorry friend, but you're going to have to get a Trinidad Scorpion sent from Trinidad (or at least a much dryer climate) in order to taste the nuclear heat...which will land you in the hospital very, very quickly
@TheShutterofMouths I agree that climate does affect SHU levels. However it's funny that the last two hottest chilli peppers before the Butch T (Naga Viper and Infinity) were both grown in the UK. And my own hybrid the "Cornish Naga" were HPLC tested last year at 1.2 mil SHU. Also I have had butch T's sent to me grown in much hotter climates (such as Florida) and they were no different to mine. So yes I have tried "nuclear heat" plenty of times without any trips to the hospital :)
@paulmtonkin It has less to do with how hot the climate is, as it is how dry the conditions are. Trinidad Moruga Scorpion average 1.2 million SHU in conditions that are "ideal" for producing lush plants, but in dryer climates they have rated at well over 2 million SHU...Peppers produce much more heat in harsh, DRY conditions, .Florida (where i live) not only gets plenty of rain, but is extremely humid..the conditions here will not produce a hotter pepper. Hot and DRY= much hotter peppers
@paulmtonkin ...Let me put it like this, A healthy good looking, lush pepper plant has no reason to produce all the heat that it can, since it's healthy and less vulnerable. However, the same variety, grown in more stressful conditions with less water, will produce drastically more heat...Try it sometime, you'll feel the difference friend, guaranteed
You sir are a boss. I really dislike the videos where people are drinking milk and eating them. I almost feel like the more your talk about how horrible it is and the more you make a scene the worse it gets.
hey man your green house is awsome is there any chance you have pepper seeds from the butch t , naga viper or the 7 pod that you can send me that would be cool buckfever101@gmail.com let me know thanks
@buckfever101ful Sorry mate not enough seeds left to send out, and my seeds aren't isolated anyway so you could end up with anything! Neil @ Hippyseedco is the way to go, very cheap shipping as well :)
I ate 1 of these last night with some friends for $20, OMFG tht shit was not worth a penni.. Never trying tht again. Unless there is 100 bucks + on the table. FUCK tht thing was hot, I cryed lik a bitch, felt lik i couldnt breath, almost trewup, nd got as red as a tomatoe. Good experience tho ull fell thougher once ur done with it. (;
@kalkal355 Trinidad has the best peppers in the world, the scorpion and 7 pot varieties are hotter than anything else. And yep I cook with them too :)
Honestly when you held it up, I thought "Oh okay he's going to take a bite to test it," and then you jammed THE WHOLE THING IN YOUR MOUTH. You are insane.
@itsonlymeyouno Inbred? Based on your mastery of the English language I'm assuming you suffer from some mental deficiency, Likely a result of generations of inbreeding. Cunting? That is not a verb. Fat? If 6 ft, 165 lbs is fat then so be it (or 182 cm, 74 kg if you prefer). Texans don't fuck? Ha ha ha then where did the 27 million people come from? I'm not even bothering with "oil drinking". Quite sure I'd be 100% dead if I did that.
@wasabi1787 The Trinidad Scorpion Butch T is the WORLD's hottest pepper coming in a a huge 1463700 Scoville Units of heat. This brit is eating a pepper that would be extremely spicy to a Texan.
@amburgyr Oh, hell yeah it would too spicy. I wouldn't ever be crazy enough to even sniff one of these. I was just saying traditional British cuisine doesn't utilize many spices compared to what we eat here, so its odd that a Brit would be testing it. It's kind of like a Mexican making a video about different types of fish and chips.
@5ly11 Lay off the vitriol, man. I wouldn't dare try this, never claimed I would. I was just saying traditional British cuisine doesn't utilize many spices compared to what we eat here, so its odd that a Brit would be testing it. It's kind of like a Mexican making a video about different types of fish and chips.
@wasabi1787 LOL, I like the comparison. And I like fish & chips, except that unlike most brits I like chili sauce on the side :)
Actually you would be surprised, the cuisine in the UK is changing and spicy food / chili in general is rapidly gaining popularity. More supermarkets are stocking hotter fresh chili and sauces and there are forever competitions for pod eating, hottest curry, hottest burger etc etc :)
@paulmtonkin Possibly runoff from Indian food gaining popularity over there? Next time I'm in England I'll have to try your fish & chips with chili sauce idea!
@wasabi1787 what im saying is, i dont think texan food is that hot..ive been to houston and it was nice/spicy food but not hot like a phall...lousiana the same..the only exception are those little diners where they set you a challenge like on man vs food..but thats not real dishes, they just throw about 50 chillis in and loads of extract and say eat that..the indian phall is HOT..also indonesian food
@rembrandt1941 Oh, well all I was saying was that the stereotype for Brits is fairly bland foods so it was ironic that a Brit would be reviewing a pepper. Just a joke. But no, Texan food (I assume you mean barbecue) is not that spicy. If I want something really spicy it's going to be either Mexican or Asian (Thai/Vietnamese)
I'm surprised that your fingers wern't really burning after toughing the pepper. Your not supposed to touch the actual pepper and if you do you're supossed to use gloves.
@garyman99 Hi mate, yes but both are from Australia so quite expensive to ship over. The original is Skobiyan by The Hippy Seed Company (my favourite all time sauce) and there is a newer one called Scorpion Strike by the Chilli Factory :)
Let us know about all that training after you go to the bathroom .... I can eat hot peppers and really enjoy them covered on nachos but dread the next day.
@redditizio Thanks, it helped to build the tolerance for the competition I was in that weekend. There I had to eat 11 pods, at least 6 of which were 'superhot'. It hurt lol
@theitalian556 Hey, exactly that, by eating extremely hot peppers and food all the time. Also, it helps if you don't worry about it, that way the body isn't in defense mode and the burn doesn't feel as bad :)
Hey dude, had a little nibble on the Butch T you sent me, and all i have to say is wow, thats silly heat! I wil film it when i know i can have the next day off as recovery lol, dont really fancy work with a poorly stomache!
These chilis look so tasty but I am pretty weak when it comes to spicy foods even though I love them at the same time. Wish I could handle spicier foods without my face melting off. Keep up the good work dude.
@marito001 Hey mate do not get from Amazon, or ebay - you will not get the real deal! Go to Neil @ the Hippyseedcompany, postage is very cheap even from Oz and you will get great service, and advice during growing too!
i bet ur buzzin after u come off that 1

@wasabi1787 LOL, I like the comparison. And I like fish & chips, except that unlike most brits I like chili sauce on the side :)
Actually you would be surprised, the cuisine in the UK is changing and spicy food / chili in general is rapidly gaining popularity. More supermarkets are stocking hotter fresh chili and sauces and there are forever competitions for pod eating, hottest curry, hottest burger etc etc :)
paulmtonkin 2 months ago
@paulmtonkin Possibly runoff from Indian food gaining popularity over there? Next time I'm in England I'll have to try your fish & chips with chili sauce idea!
wasabi1787 2 months ago
@wasabi1787 you'd be surprised,we've been eating vindaloo curries for years..try a phall curry and tell me its not hot
rembrandt1941 3 weeks ago
@rembrandt1941 Oh, no no I am not - I had some of the best Indian food of my life in London a couple/few years ago
wasabi1787 3 weeks ago
@wasabi1787 what im saying is, i dont think texan food is that hot..ive been to houston and it was nice/spicy food but not hot like a phall...lousiana the same..the only exception are those little diners where they set you a challenge like on man vs food..but thats not real dishes, they just throw about 50 chillis in and loads of extract and say eat that..the indian phall is HOT..also indonesian food
rembrandt1941 3 weeks ago
@rembrandt1941 Oh, well all I was saying was that the stereotype for Brits is fairly bland foods so it was ironic that a Brit would be reviewing a pepper. Just a joke. But no, Texan food (I assume you mean barbecue) is not that spicy. If I want something really spicy it's going to be either Mexican or Asian (Thai/Vietnamese)

@shariotoflove Thanks, I always try to test pods at their best :)

I'm surprised that your fingers wern't really burning after toughing the pepper. Your not supposed to touch the actual pepper and if you do you're supossed to use gloves.
solidsnakevideoz 3 months ago
@solidsnakevideoz Touching the outside of peppers has never bothered me, I get much more careful when I cut them open tho :)

@paulmtonkin thank you for the info =)

Are there any good sauces made from the butch t strain yet?
garyman99 3 months ago
@garyman99 Hi mate, yes but both are from Australia so quite expensive to ship over. The original is Skobiyan by The Hippy Seed Company (my favourite all time sauce) and there is a newer one called Scorpion Strike by the Chilli Factory :)

@jaxx050679 Not as pointless as leaving a comment like this. If you don't like it then don't watch it. Simple. For most people.

redditizio 4 months ago
@redditizio Thanks, it helped to build the tolerance for the competition I was in that weekend. There I had to eat 11 pods, at least 6 of which were 'superhot'. It hurt lol

paulmtonkin 4 months ago
How do you do it? How do you eat such hot peppers? By constantly eating hot things do you build somewhat of a tolerance to it? Good job!
theitalian556 4 months ago
@theitalian556 Hey, exactly that, by eating extremely hot peppers and food all the time. Also, it helps if you don't worry about it, that way the body isn't in defense mode and the burn doesn't feel as bad :)
paulmtonkin 4 months ago
@paulmtonkin I just ate a sun dried Butch T scorpion pepper! It was extremely hot! Do you know if the fresh peppers are hotter then the dried?
theitalian556 4 months ago
Dude you make me think of bear grylls when he eats those weird stuff in Man vs Wild :D
