I remember when it was called "Dixie Landings". Stayed there, thought it was pretty good. Probably changed the name cause Dixie is associated with confederates?

@Lockbar We've stayed there twice. It's our favorite. Disney closed both Dixie Landings and Port Orleans back in 2001 for a major refit and combined them as Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. I've heard that speculation over the name change but since a lot of people in the South still call it "Dixie" I don't see what the big deal was.
