  • @Ra1d3rOne" when thiz tune came out it wazn't nuthin bout gangstaz, thiz iz rap from the rootz, no cuss wordz,no slappin hootcheez, they waz kickin knowledge of street life, and how we used ta get off on poppin lockin and breakin, that waz how we waz livin in redondo beach eeeehhh!"

  • @R3ZTHUG I know this is that classic rap, i grew up poppin to this song in Norwalk Ca. "Electric Baby Rock" from Silent Movemnet Crew!

When I said it was gansta, I just meant that it didn't sound as lame as the other version, you feel me. Although it does talk about cuz & bloods in a verse. We all grew up the same way just different city, we had b boy battles every thursday at the park and this song takes me back to those days.

  • @Ra1d3rOne "YOU ON THE ONE "G", IT DOEZ SAY CUZZ -BLOOD, I WUZ JUST SAYIN THIZ CAT DON'T CLAIM NONE LIKE THEY DO NOW, EVERYONE TRYIN TA BE A ROUGHNECK, OR PIMP, BUT WE KOOL LIKE THAT, IT'Z SMOOTH TA SEE A LOC FROM THAT ERA THAT KNOWZ HIZ TUNEZ, YOU KEEP ON SPEAKIN IT LIKE IT WUZ, I GOTTCHA BACK, I'M OUT FOR NOW, CEEEEE-YA!"

  • the best breakers came from nyc foo.

  • great tune on RapperRappDisco 1984...

    IMO 2 Thumbs up!!!

  • Same here.

Just say NO to radio, and say YES to YouTube.

Because unique, underrated dancable jams like these are really favored by breakdancers, not to mention songs only go on radio because pop musicians cut corners to get songs on the air. But again, just say NO to radio and say YES to other means (MP3 player, YouTube, Project Playlist, etc.)

  • another classic is the group "Twilight 22" and their classic entitled "play at your own risk". I used to love that one! check it out!

  • Twillight 22 has electro classics like Electric Kingdom & Siberian Nights...

Play at your own risk is Planet Patrol `82 Tommy Boy Rec.

  • you are absolutely correct. play at your own risk was by Planet patrol. (Now how could I have mixxed that up?) Oh yeah! I was caught up in the moment with the old school! Its all good though!

  • That was Planet Patrol that did "Play At Your Own Risk".

  • yeah i caught my typo after i posted. its was planet patrol
