@zerosystem135 It runs smoothly on mine on 1080p too, I just don't care about shadows very much, so I usually sacrifice them for more frames if it runs under 80 FPS.
i know its a differnt game and card but i half trouble with mass effect 2 it lags like crasy and i have a flippen GeForce 560 GT its getting on my nerves please help :/
@xekiest I'm sure you've already done this, but just in case, completely uninstall your Nvidia drivers and download the latest, that usually takes care of any minor performance issue that arises. Does this problem show up in any other game?
@pie65576 It is an RPG, it has more emphasis on the "ROLE PLAYING" aspect of an RPG than every other RPG since Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines.
It's open to whatever playstyle accomodates you best, and each playstyle is good enough to stand on it's own, be it lethal/nonlethal stealth, run and gunning, or cover shooting, etc. There are also many different ways to take on missions, so you can sqeeze out maybe 4 playthroughs and see new things every time.
@pie65576 I really think you should squeeze DX3 in your "to buy" list, you won't regret it. But yeah, I'm positive you'll be able to run Skyrim on high without any problems.
That's if the game doesn't turn out to be a buggy mess like every other Bethesda game on launch!
@NFSKing Yes, I can run it on 1080p at 40 frames per second, with your CPU, it would probably be somewhere between 40-50 FPS. If you have the graphics card OC'd you might be able to get a solid 60 FPS.
So you could run it with the I3 2100? I have a GTX 560 TI with the I3 2100 3.1Ghz. Could that possibly run it a little bit higher than this with no problems?
@Gannon191 Of course, the 560 ti has about 30% more power than a 460 (depending on the game) and the i3 2100 is a great CPU, so you'll have no problem running this game completely maxed out on 1080p at 60+ FPS.
@MurphyPendleton Thanks man. I just wanted to know since a lot of people have said that my I3 just won't cut it. I probably won't buy this game yet, because I'm extremely strapped for cash right now. I just bought a new Airsoft gun, and got the TI so I really don't have enough money to buy a 50 dollar game. I hope they put a deal up though, cause I was really anticipating the game and, I hate myself for saying this, but I was hoping for it to focus more on console in case I couldn't run it.
The i3 2100 is criminally underestimated because of it's core count, with it and the 560, you'll be able to run every game on the market for the next few year with out a problem. You could even buy a second 560 for SLI and you wont see any bottlenecking.
I bought the game on this site called Green Man Gaming for $28 on a sale, you might be able to pick it up for $33 or $36 right now if they've still got the 20% promotional code active.
@Gannon191 Yeah, I just saw a copy at Target today. They don't sell them at Gamestop right now due to a recall with some code that activates the Onlive version, but you can find it anywhere else.
@Hawkisnoob Yeah I would, but my gun broke the moment I got it, so I have to pay for shipping to send it out to Cali and back( I'm in FL btw, very expensive) and a lot for them to open it and fix it. I'm not sure if I'm still in warranty.
@imbocca The developers themselves said the PC version was to be the superior one, I'm glad it lived up to their promise.
Unfortunately, It's not without bugs. With Vsync on, the character's faces show artefacting, like a dying graphics card. Until that's fixed, I just leave it off.
I've also head that some people have problems with their mouse's responsiveness, I have yet to see that problem myself, but its something to be aware of.
Anyways, I'm sure these things will be patched in no time.
@imbocca The game is very well optimized for PC, I'm glad it was ported over by a different company. More multiplatform developers and publishers should follow their lead, unless it's being developed first for PC of course.
@LogDoggie The i3 is a pretty amazing little chip for a dual core! Of course, it's the OC from my graphics card that's doing most of the legwork, but still, I'm pleasantly surprised with what it can do so far.
@MurphyPendleton I have an old Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 3.2GHz, looking at benchmarks it actually performs about the same as your i3 2100! LOL. But in multithreaded apps it blasts the i3 out of the water. Soo this should be interesting to run on my system.
And by the way what clocks are running on your GTX 460? (it's interesting to see what people are getting with this card cuz the overclock varies like mad)
@MurphyPendleton I'm not sure if I'll be able to run Deus Ex :HR that well. I use a laptop for my gaming so I guess that in itself is a disavantage. My CPU is a i7-720QM and my grafix card is a ATIMobility Radeon 5730 HD 1gb. Maybe if I tamper with the ingame settings and such, I'll be able able to get some smooth performance. And I don't think the Canyourunit site is very reliable. What do u think?
@CanderousXOrdo Your specs seem good enough. Of course, I don't really follow laptop hardware, so I'm not sure how the i7-720QM compares to it's desktop counterparts.
I think you might be able to run it on medium with some things turned off but don't take my word for it!
Can you run it is a good site, if it says you meet or exceed the recommended requirements, then you'll probably be able to run the game just fine.
@thejlab Nothing much really, I just get about 5 to 10 less frames. The game is still very playable though.
There's not a notable difference between shadows on low and shadows maxed out, so I'd rather sacrifice them for some more FPS. I'd do that even if I had a GTX 590.
If there's anything I hate in this world, its a choppy framerate.
it lags crazy on my comp with everything off except shadows, but thats because my comp is old...

I have:
ASUS ENGTX460 1024mb
Intel i5-650 Quad core @ 3.20GHz

Would my PC be able to run it at max (no AA), 1920x1080?
