  • Went to Penkridge to see it blast through on the return run.......felt for the guys who set up their camera stuff on the down side....only to have their patience thwarted by the late running L.M. to Liverpool which appeared to obscure the Western passing on the up..........bad luck boys!

  • WHOA low bridge!!

  • Lucky it didn't land in the sea lol! Good shot!

  • UNBEATABLE loco in every way with looks, sound, performance and popularity! There were more out for the `wezzie` on the coast than any kettle ive seen along there! I was at Abergele and the loco passed at a good 75 mph.......not bad after a start from Rhyl only 3 miles away. AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that was bloomin' close! Good thing you held on to that camera or that would have been up the spout! Hellfire stuff though, 5*

  • That was the problem. I wasn't holding it! I had set it down to film, whilst I clicked away with my SLR. I turned around after she had passed to see the camera had moved! I wonder if it had bounced off the front of Champion whether I could still download the footage from the card? He he!

  • Either way, consider yourself lucky you didn't lose your camera. Great angle though! Keep it up.

  • That place looks familiar !
