I love it. "Oh well they're all the same" is the battle cry of right wingers who can't admit defeat. They're not all the same. Liberals didn't fall asleep at the wheel, ignore their own intel ops and allowed the largest attack on us since Pearl Harbor. The Liberals didn't draft the Patriot Act to erode our rights. Liberals didn't give the rich a 35% tax cut that the top 450 economists warned would wreck the economy. How very generous you are with blame. Too bad you're not like that with $
Here we go again folks. Pussies in the right wing who FAIL to take responsibility for their mistakes. Thanks for your hot steaming pile of excuses but America phoned. They don't want any more. EPIC FAIL
You just show how ignorant you are. Right or wrong choices Obama is moving a lot of legislation. If you were smart enough to see this, you wouldn't be part of the problem.
Is it the change I voted for? YES. 100%. Let's remember 450 of the nation's top econmists penned a letter to Bush begging him not to proceed with 35% tax cut that got us here. Can you imagine how bad it would be now if we got John "let's wage 100 years of war in Iraq" McCain? Reasonable Americans know Bush handed Obama a destroyed economy. That's why the vote went the way it did. Let me ask you this - if Obama is to blame for the economy was did it crash before he was in office?
So you don't mind that Obama wasted 700 Billion on a failed plan? I don't know about you, but I don't have that cash hidden out back. My family is broke and getting worse. How's yours?
you all have no future as republicans, the party is a joke who has some fat, hypocrite, drug addict practically running it. Just accept it and watch the party crumble some more.
I always vote Republican because of morals and to keep America REAL. I only pray we are in power again sooner than 4 years from now...one way or another!
Warren G Harding. About 2/3rds of the stuff that happened in the Bush administration wasn't his fault. 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the market crash(which was 10-20 years in the making). Was he a great leader, no really. But he wasn't as bad as he was made out to be. Just one unlucky SOB.
President Harry Truman left office after taking America into an unpopular war, and left office with the lowest approval rating in history......and he is considered one of the greatest presidents of all time.
I don't have to wonder how history will remember Bush. He pulled us all together after 9/11 and gave us the unity we needed to continue on. The
Democrats are remembered for men like Clinton. is that the image you really want to show the world?
umm, Harry Truman was a Democrat, Franklin D. Roosevelt was a Democrat also. And to be honest I dont think history will be too kind with Bush just like Clinton is remembered for his affair
So history is nicer to Democrats? FDR and Truman both were pretty unpopular for a while...And Bush never had an affair. He did many wonderful things during his time. AIDS relief, his work after 9/11, ect. History is a funny thing...
LBJ was a dem too, look how he's remembered, History will be kind to Bush, he did what was needed to keep us safe. I'm a big history person, I know that Mr. Bush did what was needed, and he'll be remembered so
Wow Bush had it really easy, he came into a surplus of money, he was warned about terrorist plots (this way he could be prepared), and the economy was doing fine. And guess what happened? Probably the worst 8 years of a presidency.
lets get some things straight, first off no president "inherits" an economy, the economy works as it will. number 2, FDR had ample warning about pearl harbor, Clinton had ignored warnings for years before then, you can't prepare off every warning, arguably we had the worst 12 years of a presidency off of FDR
Here we go with the excuse making. Why is it the right wingers wasted millions trying to remove the president responsible for the longest peace time economic boom, yet the bum supported can do no wrong even he is responsible for the biggest economic melt down since Hoover's depression?
every president inherits whatever economy is given to them, its not like the economy reboots everytime a new president comes into office. I love these big George W. Bush lovers that never blame anything on him and blame Clinton for what he gave him. Of course its a different story when Obama comes to power and is not allowed to blame bush for anything, typical republicans.
well if you're driving toward a brick wall at 90mp/h do you hit the accelerater? ok you're right, Bush must 100% responsible for the economy, totally, so obama gets in office and makes it worse. so now what? Bush is old news, it's still getting worse. and Obama is making it worse
All I am saying is to give Obama a chance, some republicans want everything fixed in a few months. You guys gave reagan time to fix the economy now you wont let obama fix it. You republicans need to chill out
WHY?!!! i'll give someone a chance to do something that works, Obama's not fixing the economy, I want it fixed, not run by the federal government, that was the stupidest thing i've heard in a long time "you won't let obama fix it" WRONG SUNSHINE, WE WON'T LET HIM MAKE IT WORSE.
there is almost no way for you to understand a simple concept. Give our president a chance to help the economy like all you republicans gave reagan, and the economy will turn around. During the Clinton years the economy was doing pretty well and Bush was handed a surplus, of course republicans always seem to forget that such as yourself
so if Adolf Hitler says that Jews are the problem then do we give him a chance to fix it like we did reagan? you are the one not understanding this, YOU DON'T GIVE PEOPLE CHANCES TO SCREW YOU OVER! Reagan's policy was a time-tested one that worked, Obama's policy is time-tested too, FDR tried it and failed. some of the biggest expenses we have are the medicare, medicaid and social insecurity, these types of things are exactly what obama's doing. btw clinton's boom had already ended by bushs time
I love how you say "Reagan's policy was a time-tested one that worked" wow of course Reagan is yours and the republicans messiah and was the greatest president of all time according to you guys. It's funny how it was acceptable to allow Reagan to try his ideas in fixing the economy and see if it worked. Obama has his own way and its not okay by you and others just because he is a democrat. Its hypocracy in its glory.
No president has the power to improve an economy. This is as it should be. The only power any politician has over the economy is negative - that is, they have the power to drag it down. Some do - see Hoover, FDR, Johnson, Ford, Carter, George W. Bush, and from the looks of it, Barack H. Obama. Some do not - see Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Reagan.
yep, Reagan was bad since he won 49 out of the 50 states.
You should probably go watch a video of Jimmy Carter if you want to see the WORST president in history. Then again, your a liberal with no brain so I wouldnt expect you to learn anything.
I liked George W. Bush for the most part, his biggest error was that amnesty legislation he supported in Congress. Perhaps if he renounces that in the future....
I think history will judge him positively as a president, and I think that very soon Americans will regret the way they treated him.
Great video by the way, very inspiring. Too bad this year's candidate John McCain is probably the worst ever possible.
I want to praise Ronald Reagan, because he had traits that could have made him a President of our generation. But he lacked the one thing that is necessary for a great President, compassion for the common man. His policies always favored the wealthy and the powerful. His economic "trickle-down theory" just padded the pockets of the few. He was anti-union, anti-environment, anti-programs for the disadvantage. I wish I could admire him but I can't.
R.R. hated veterans, kicked them onto the streets to die with mental and physical illnesses; he ramped up economic warfare on the middle class and sold our country to corporations
Ronald Reagan, u were, are, and will always be my hero, may God bless your sweet soul, Americans will always remember you, you are and will always be our guadiance, may God bless my almighty America
Many said we would get hit within a year and a half from Sept 11th, 2001. They were wrong President George W. Bush has protected us. He does not do what the polls say to do. He does not do the popular things. He does what is right and what needs to be done. Not only does he have to fight and beat the terrorist, he has to fight the lib news media and the liberal democrats. Excellent video. 5/5
Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. Why do we attribute anything to Bush? The fact that people thought we were going to get hit means nothing as most of those people probably predicted we would never get hit in the first place. GWB is the worst president ever being only potentially challenged by Tom Tancredo. I could expatiate but it would take more time. This isn't intended to harangue a party; just one man and his advisors.
Were you not born for Jimmy Carter, Lyndon B Johnson? How about Bill who was MIA when it came to taking out Osama after he had been bombing American targets across the world.
You think Gore would have got the job done? He would have been an appeaser...
I find both Bush's to be too left leaning for me, but that is just me.
When I say Bush is the worst, I am taking his presidency as a whole. LBJ's work on Civil Rights (which I take it you are probably against) clearly takes him off the worst ever, and Clinton was average or a little below. Carter is a close one, but Bush is clearly the stupidest president we've ever had (and don't give me this "he's just inarticulate" nonsense). Gore would've got the job done in Afghanistan and wouldn't have entered Iraq.
Now ernest, a legacy is a continuation of greatness in the likeness of the originator. There has been and never will be a greater legacy than Ronald Reagan's. Unless another candidate embraces our country like Reagan did. You see Reagan was a man first a leader not a pure politician. He did what he felt was right not what the polls required and history will and has proven him to be our greatest leader.
Again, you can't say he wasn't a pure politician and know that in 1980 he went to Neshoba County, MS in favor of state's rights. He is either a racist or a pure politician. He sold weapons to terrorists (Contras) which I guess left a legacy that Bush 43 picked up on when he indirectly funded parts of Al-Qaeda to deter Iran. If our greatest leader ever illegally funds terrorists, then, as Einstein might say, "we are a sorry lot indeed."
Furthermore, have you ever read about people like George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton, etc... These people falsify any fatuous notion of Reagan being our greatest leader and leaving the greatest legacy. He may have been a better president than Carter and Walter Mondale, but that is not a great achievement.
In June of 2005 Former US President Ronald Reagan was voted the "greatest American" of all time by his fellow citizens. 5/5 and to my favorates this one goes.
If what you say is true, that is pretty sad. Reagan certainly wouldn't be voted as the "greatest American" by any black person, and most liberals/Dems would only rate him as above average at best. The last GREAT American this country has seen (in my opinion) would be Eisenhower. Since him, the quality of Americans/presidents has been a little lower than we should expect and demand.
you are wrong Reagan was the greatest. Every democratic hopefull since Reagan has tried to be Reagan the trouble that they have is that Reagan was real not an imitation like they are. Often immitated never duplicated but he has created the greatest legacy our nation will ever know in the White House and you can not deney that.
Reagan was a racist and was far from being the greatest President, let alone greatest Republican. If you think he has created the best legacy in our history, you either don't know our history or you have little respect for it. Eisenhower was twice the man Reagan was. And all the Dem candidates since have tried leaning towards the center, not imitating Reagan. When was the last time the Dems funded a terrorist group (Contras)?
I am an independent not a Dem. I will vote for either party, and I will critique both parties. I call Reagan a racist (or in the very least a demagogue) because in the 1980 campaign, he goes to Neshoba County, Mississippi in favor of "state's rights". He opposed the Civil Rights Act, tried to weaken the Voting Rights Act, was against a holiday for MLK Jr, vetoed a bill in 1988 expanding federal civil rights legislation. Not a racist? Do some homework.
above average? actually I would say one of the worst. Trickle down economics severely crippled the distribution of wealth and economy until Clint restored the budget and growth once again. and let's not start with Iran Contra..
In June of 2005 Former US President Ronald Reagan was voted the "greatest American" of all time by his fellow citizens. 5/5 and to my favorates this one goes. It is true.
"by 'any' black person"? Hmmm, that's quite a blanket statement. Ever heard of Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell or J C Watts? I think Eisenhower was a great President, but found your 'any black person' comment odd. Vote2008
I was simply making the point that Reagan's career is fraught with political transgressions against black people. I'm not saying that they should hate him because both parties are guilty of this, but it should be enough so that a self-respecting black person wouldn't consider Reagan the "greatest American".

These people falsify any fatuous notion of Reagan being our greatest leader and leaving the greatest legacy. He may have been a better president than Carter and Walter Mondale, but that is not a great achievement.

If a President were any more right wing than gw, we'd be living under a dictator starting wars with every other country, not just Iraq and Iran..

Oh you are so silly ernest. This is what all dems do you can not win an arguement on meritt so you call names like "racist".
