Watched this absolutely mesmerizing show last friday on my first trip to Las Vegas. Everyone kept telling me that if you could only go to 1 show, make it "O". I ended up going to 3 with "O" being one of them and I sat on the 4th row.
In one word: Overwhelming. Never in my whole life have I seen anything remotely close to what I witnessed that night. Midway through the show I found myself thanking God for letting me live long enough to be a part of this.
O is a permanent show and you can only see it in Las Vegas. The 1.5 million gallon pool, elaborate curtain equipment, and enormous overhead and underwater rigging make it impossible for the show to ever go on tour.
There are two songs. The main one is Desert while the one that starts at 3:40 is Jeux d'eau. All the performers in "O" are certified scuba divers, and there are air tanks with breathing masks hidden beneath the water.
i remember seating front row for this in October of 2010 and just not believing what i was seeing!! it is a breathtaking show!! i recommend everyone who visits Las Vegas to watch O by Cirque du Soleil!
If you're talking about the wires that the horses are attached to, then I think they still are, but the extent of their visibility will depend on the lighting during each performance.
Oh! In that case, then no. The safety wires shouldn't be all that noticeable. Since "O" is mostly performed over an enormous pool of water, the majority of their aerial artist don't wear safety wires. Also, as you can see in this video, the duo trapeze artists only wear wires during the swinging part of the performance. They don't wear any during the first part of their act.

Best spectacle I've ever seen. By far.

The way they pull the curtain at the beginning and then close it at the end is breathtaking to see live. I wanted to applaud the curtain!
