  • Tony is the best character in 24.

  • Chase edmunds from season 3 is still alive and will probably help in the movie too

  • its partly same as the bomb detontes from season 2

  • You know what would be cool? If Wilson was sent to the same prison as Tony. Than that would mean Tony would be able to kill him.

  • These people think they can take everything away from us, Jack! Somebody had to stop 'em! And what did you do, huh? You ran away! That's right, you ran away Jack! You're one of them now! Congratulations! How would Teri feel about that, huh Jack?! Huh?! You lost your nerve! You're a coward Jack!

  • Gotta love Tony.

  • Tony don't MOVE !! Tony don't MOVE !!

  • I like how even when Jack has the perfect chance to finish Tony off, its like he's struggling to hold onto the memory of their friendship, and this keeps him from killing him. If it was anyone else, Jack wouldn't have thought twice about shooting. Remember Curtis Manning? Really shows the depth of Jack and Tony's relationship.

  • @hotfuzzidol

idk curtis had a diff situation he was going to kill assad who was very important at the time for info. I'm pretty sure that if tony was in that sitatuion he would kill tony. But i know what you mean. Jack and Tony was def more close then Jack and curtis.

One person i really wish was in the finale Michele Dessler. 3 Michele,Tony,Jack. Michele was the best.

"I never thought you would be the one to have my back" when jack said that 2 clo

you know he was thinkin michele and tony

  • What I liked about this scene is the way Tony contrasts with Jack and how they are really two sides of the same coin. Both are patriotic agents, both suffer dreadful losses (pregnant wives), both lose themselves in their own actions (Jack with his torture and Tony with his terrorism) The only difference is that had someone like Kim to hold onto, and all those good people surrounding him like Chloe and Bill. Tony was alone and went too far down the wrong path.

  • These people think they can take everything away from us, Jack!

  • I just dont get how Tony would do all that shit to Jack and innocent people. Since he killed Larry i dont ever see him becoming a good guy his personal revenge differed from jacks 2 much(Jack never murdered anyone innocent) It's like Tony was battleing with his inner self he helped jack and the president but then turns a 180 and killes Larry. We will see Tony in the movie, But we wont see the Tony we saw in season 1-4. I want to see Tony somehow redeem himself but odds are he cant. :(

  • I just wonder how it will turn out in the movie for 24 this whole jack and tony thing is sad. these guys were really good friends, Once Michelle died Tony was never the same he pushed his best friends away(Jack and Chloe) did things his wife would never forgive and killed an innocent man that the Tony from season 1-5 would never forgive. , Biggie said it right, Theres truly nothing left for Tony, gone are the days that Tony and Jack would work together as friends. i look forward to the movie.

  • I JUST realized this is very similar to "The Bomb Detonates" from Season 2. Far from the same, but a lot of similarities.

  • He's going to be in the movie for sure. Alan wilson & Tony.

  • @Paperbagman555 I hope so, Wilson really needs to be in the film. Without him and Tony the film will suck imo.

  • Last night's episode was great! Jack Bauer represented all of what America is... the good, the bad, and the ugly.... in the end, when i thought he was going to die... there was a glimmer from the sky looking down on him..... You can't kill Jack Bauer, no more than you can kill the American spirit. I can't wait until the movie!

  • Love this track soooo much.

  • The most/least(?) intense scene in 24, especially if you didn't see seasons 1-6.

  • "it wasn't just my wife you killed...she was carrying my son...

YOU KILLED MY SON! MY SON!

The music is just beautiful...tragic...bittersweet and emotionally intense.. Sean Callery is a great composer...i hope they bring tony back for the feature film as a villian and he and jack can finally have a climatic showdown.

  • This scene was amazing! I really felt sorry for Tony when I watched it =\ It's like you wrote in the description BiggieK7888, he is a "fallen angel". Awesome way of describing his downfall! Gods knows Tony never deserved to live such a terrible life like the one he had =\ A good man who lost his soul along with his wife and son, and for what? I'm not surprised if the writers decide that Wilson was released after day 7. would be typical if he managed to just walk away. thx for the upload! =)

  • YOU KILLED MY SON!! MY SON!!!!!!!!

  • The music is just wonderful. Thanks for the vid.

  • @Dietcoke218 dc! :D

  • this was the best scene in season 7

  • I think the saddest part of this entire climax is what it leads to. There is truly nothing left for Tony anymore. His wife and unborn son are dead, he betrayed possibly his best and only friend, he dug himself into a very deep hole he can never climb out of, and now he gets to rot in jail for possibly the rest of his life.

Everything that led to this climax, and he failed. Now Tony has nothing left to live for, so if he ever returned in 24, any "deal" would probably mean nothing to him.

  • @BiggieK7888 I agree. Frankly, I love it. I'm SO glad Tony got to have the spotlight and have his chance at a true tragic ending. I thought his character was wasted and pissed away in season 5 when they killed him for shock value.

I was saying since that day that they were building him up to be a bad guy (remember him in season 4? A bad guy even offers him a job and he thinks about it for a minute). This was a MUCH better ending than just being killed off. Tony's life is a tragedy.

  • @Pumpie

There is a good chance they might bring tony back from the 24 feature film.

  • @Zain844

Nothing's confirmed though, and I think it makes more sense that his story is completely done. Bringing him back would just be beating a dead horse and bring with it the opportunity to just ruin Tony's life even further (if it were possible).

  • @Pumpie

I disagree his fan base is way too large for them not to atleast consider bringing him back for the feature film. If they can think of a good reason to bring him back for the story, As for "beating a dead horse" what do you think they've been doing this whole time? They've been recycling old plot lines since Season 2 the mole in CTU, Jack's quest for revenge, The evil Russian conspiracy, it's all been done before.

  • @Zain844

Exactly. They're running out of ideas. They spent season 7 redeeming the shitty way in which they killed Tony, and gave him full closure on his storyline. It wouldn't make sense to bring him back yet again. The point was to give him a proper send-offf.

  • @Pumpie

if they wanted to give his character a proper send off why not just finally kill him off in the final hours of season 7? why keep him alive? 24 is notorious for it's high body count. if they kept him alive then it means that they might consider bringing him back In the future like i said his fanbase is just way too big for the writers to ignore. Even if it's just a cameo appearance in the film that would be enough to satisfy fans.

  • @Zain844

I'm not sure why you think killing him is the only way to "properly" send off a character. Tony's a tragic figure, and a tragic ending (not always resulting in death) is a *very* fitting end.

As for the real time in the movie, there have been a few ideas tossed around. 1 hour of inconsistent time, with the second hour being real time, or 2 hours of real-time, or no real time at all. Depends what the story needs, really.

  • @Pumpie

That's because it is unless they plan on bringing him back i see no point in keeping his character alive. He should have died in the final hour of Season 7 his story would have been over for good and what about Alan Wilson? what happened to him? there is hardly any mention of him at all in Season 8 the feature film could involve him as the villan and perhaps involve tony as well.

  • @Zain844

Alan Wilson was not a developed character. He was just part of the heirarchy -a plot device for us to sympathize with Tony after battling to understand his motivations for the season. He was also the device for Renee's unethical Jack-like practices. Alan Wilson is gone because he's no longer important. Tony is gone because he's fully developed. Death won't make that any more apparent.

  • @Pumpie Like hell Wilson was not a developed character, he was behind everything that happened in 24 according to the writers of the show. He was without thought the biggest villian in the series history without question. Season 8 sucked because they did not bring him back. If the movie does not bring back wilson the film will suck as well. Wilson behind every bad thing in 24 since day 4.

  • @Pumpie

Another thing is that i've heard they will abadon the real time aspect so it will be 24 hours condensed down to maybe 2 hours. this gives them quite a bit of flexability for the story and if it's a theatrical release, they'll be able to really push the envelope with the violence and special effects whether or not they bring tony back.

  • @Pumpie They had a chance to give him a proper send off in season 5. That scene was so well done and a silent clock would have made it perfect. They screwed the pooch by bringing him back from the dead. Even if they do kill him off it will never be as good as that first moment. He had a perfect send off and they snatched it away.

  • @smackdatpat

Tony's death in season 5 was not well done. They had developed a conflict of interest in season 4 when they foreshadowed him becoming a criminal. Then in Season 5, he survives a car-bomb in a coma for 12 episodes --one that specifically targetted him for death (and would have been a perfect ending) to put him in a wrong-place-wrong-time scenario where he was killed off like a Red-Shirt in Star Trek. That death was *awful*.

  • @smackdatpat No.. that send off in season 5 was AWFUL I would have preferred it if he died in the car explosion with Michelle. Or just kept him in a coma the entire season. Instead he died like a PUSSY stabbed with a needle? If you're gonna kill off such an important character don't just do it for shock value. Make his death meaningful. Like George Mason in season 2 that was an awesome death.

  • @BiggieK7888 Can you upload "Jack's revenge at the docks" used in season 1?

  • I'm afraid not. The only reason WMG has not deleted these current tracks is because they are from the extended soundtrack ripped by ffshrine user Thalin and thus, has no holding violation from itunes store.

"Jack's Revenge at the Docks" is a track from the official soundtrack not extended, thus posting it would result in my entire account potentially being deleted, as well as all the tracks I've already posted.

  • @BiggieK7888 Is there a way you can at least send it to me privately? I promise you can take it down after I got it from zamzar. Just give me a deadline time.

  • @BiggieK7888 What about the epic music from day 7 that comes in right after Tony causes the large explosion?

  • @BiggieK7888 Hello?

  • @BiggieK7888 They could always bring The Low-Talker, aka Soul Patch, aka Tony Almeida back in the films and allow him to go on a mission of redemption for Jack. In fact, I'm truly hoping they do that. Jack essentially needs to establish his own team of badass "problem-solvers" consisting of Jack as CO, Michael Madsen's character, former Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce, and Tony Almeida with Chloe being used from time-to-time as support. They should also bring back Cheng as a villain.

    -ATMD

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie Jack forming his own A-team

    Tony Almeida

    Jim Ricker

    Aaron Pearce

    Chole O'Brien.

i agree that would be awesome

  • Apologies for the late reply!

Great summary, Biggie. To witness Tony's decline is incredibly saddening. Furthermore, the actions he takes to resolve his misery are terrifying.

While no sane person should ever condone what Tony did, I was still cheering for him when he confronted Wilson. The scene oozes with emotion; you can really feel a mixture of Tony's sadness, anger, and relief. This couldn't have been done without Bernard's fantastic acting and Callery's gripping score.
