This song brings tears to my eyes, but gives me hope with the strength that we came through it. I don't understand why people see it as a love song, but the tune is very pretty to be mistaken as such.

I love the soft cel version and not particularly a fan of David Gray by any means, but I have to admit, this is the best version of this song. The true caustic nature of the lyrics shine through in this version, even more than in the original. A beautiful, bitter- sweet song made even better.In my opinion, at least.
