Pierce, long before I moved to Ireland I saw you perform this song at one of your Wexford Christmas gigs. I turned to Donal who had dragged me there and said: "He is a genius - Ireland's musical Picasso." I've seen you perform many times since and have added many other titles to my Turner Treasure Trove; but this tender beauty always leaves me misty-eyed - just because it is the way it is. Thanks.
