@slovakmath I was not talking about the version of Steve Earle but about the version from Lisa-Marie Fischer (look at videos from KlausvonJan. The one from Lisa-Marie Fischer was recorded on the Townes van Zandt tribute festival on October 31st 2010 in Italy, close to Milano.
@slovakmath Check also Lisa's Version of Santa Fe; originally written by Patty Griffin. I am managing Lisa-Marie Fischer; young artist, great voice, she will make it!
I can't hear this intro without my eyes leaking. It reminds me of Guy Clark' at Towne's Funeral saying "Hell, I guess I booked this gig 30 years ago so I can't back out on it" and then, with tears streaming down his cheeks , playing Be Here to Love Me and If I Needed You, Guy was sorta Townes' Mentor and Townes' was sorta Steve's, they're really a family more than any one of them was with their blood relatives in their songwriting heydays.

This is incredible. I've heard his son a few times on the radio, and seen him interviewed in a doc or two about townes, but man: Steve has chops.
