  • Stupid cops can't do shit. Haha.

  • that "move move move" tactic seems out of a 60s sci fi novel.

The founder father's would never have put up with that. The street would be littered with dead cops if what happened during many of these protests happened in their time.

  • @speedyhobbit13 no idea sorry, ask the girl who did it

  • I'm sending this to everyone who is claiming that we the students attacked first.

  • Dirty cops, everywhere. Not a single good cop to be seen. How did all the good cops know to stay home that day???

  • @omgshinoda1 What do you mean the protesters had no cause?! I won't pretend to be an expert on American education but from what I've heard from my mates over there its total crap. Its expensive enough being a student where I'm from and we don't even get charged interest on our loans! These guys should be practically rioting on the streets because of the way the U.S. government has treated its students. Besides $200 is a lot of money when your broke

  • @omgshinoda1 You are stupid. At around 3:55, the police line starts moving unprovoked. Protesters did not move towards them at all. They start shoving there batons at people and yelling move. So the right thing at peaceful protests is when your tired of hearing them talk to start shoving batons against there faces and throwing people down to the ground to arrest them for nothing?

  • Does anyone see the irony with the sign of the "Iron Curtain"?

  • I didnt know 4150 views is the whole world, if so then we have severely downsized and I may soon b president one day. I c no brutality here but officers doing their job. If u want 2 complain about brutality then go2 Eygpt n get your tent lit on fire and run over by an armored vehicle. This is the same amount of force that is being used against the officers, nothing illegal here.

  • @alky1229 "This is the same amount of force that is being used against the officers" Show us where in the video anyone beat the officers with sticks or shoved them around. Comparing this to the atrocities that happen in even less democratic societies than ours doesn't make it okay. "Not as oppressed as we could be" isn't the same as "free".

  • Democracy could happen yet.

  • @omgshinoda1 How exactly is rushing a bunch of people in a hallway doing what they are supposed to do? Why did they even need to be there in the first place? These guys were clearly harmless- the worst thing they were doing was making a lot of noise- and if making a lot of noise warrants a police charge than if American schools are anything like my school, you would have the cops arresting people on a daily basis -_-

  • It was clearly the cops who attacked a peaceful protest. Who would actaully want to send their child to this school?

  • Is it okay if I mirror this and upload it to my channel?

  • @gmaynorscale Because it's in 1080 HD, it will take a while of course. But it will be up soon. Keep fighting the good fight, Bearcats!

  • @gmaynorscale how do you mirror videos? i'd like to put this on my channel as well.

  • Baruch is best buddies with Wall Street. It has one of the premier public business schools in the country. It has its own stock trading floor. People who go there are often expected to get jobs at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, etc. Would you really expect anything else from its cops?

  • The whole world is watching! All the peace love and power to our brothers and sisters. Shame on you police for violating our rights. As you continue to twist your words and make up lies for your action the world is waking up and becoming aware of this corruption! How much longer can you hide behind your badges, your government titles, your "money and power"? Everything will be exposed! We will not go quietly into the night

  • Nope, no brutallity here. Pushing is not brutallity. I'm for the OWS movement. and against police brutallity but nothing in this video shows that. Let's keep things in perspective. If we call things like what's in this video brutallity, it minimizes REAL police brutallity.

  • @MrHacksawJoe Agree with this. I would call it excessive force used against a peaceful crowd. It doesnt make sense. Yet it isnt brutality. Still fucked up in my eyes.

  • every one needs to abandon this college its become a criminal organisation.......

  • @Tetigustas you have got to be kidding me. ..... and you know this because youre a student at baruch? coz last time i checked the most "criminal organization" we have is the archery club.

  • @rockinchick925 But the archery club doesn't challenge the system like Grassroots and Bottoms Up do.

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee i was being sarcastic to the guy who said baruch is a criminal organization ;)

  • Rename video to "How not to defend yourself from police in riot gear". (e.g., Tip no. 1: Do not throw rolled up posters at a charging police line. This will not provide adequate protection from their batons, nor will it obstruct their forward moving momentum.)

  • Did anyone see these students "surge forward toward the college’s identification turnstiles" which alledgedly justified this absurdity? I didn't. Gotta love the internet!

  • @JelleTheTunes you heard that too huh. cus what I saw was a 5 foot space and the people who were closest with their backs to the cops.

  • @WowzaGuy Do you know what or why they were protesting? Tuition is being raised again for the 3rd time in 3 years (projected increase of $1500)... pretty f"ing ridiculous. so the next time you want to talk out your behind do some research and see why people are acting this way. People just don't act this way out of thin air. #idiot

  • Respond to this video... The World is watching! Keep it up as this is how change happens. #OCCUPYTHEWORLD

  • @WowzaGuy Pretty typical. Instead of making a logical comment, average youtuber is generalizing subjects of a video without any factual knowledge or correct use of "punctuation."

  • @abuseyourpower That's the opposition to the Occupy Movement for you!

  • Thank god for Youtube. Hopefully, it's only a matter of time before laws change to prevent this ridiculousness.

  • This video exposes the pack of lies released by the administration to justify the attack by the cops. What never ceases to amaze me is that, in spite of the fact that there is practically universal video coverage of just about every square inch of this country, by security and "traffic" cameras, they never seem to be able to come up with any footage that supports their preposterous explanations of what happened.

  • Shut it Bobby

  • "This is OUR Public University, not a Private Entity. We are students, not customers."

NO TUITION HIKES, NO POLICE REPRESSION!

    Event: facebook com/events/323781937636365

  • Though I dont agree with them being pushed out of a public forum, a lot less force was used than in other instances, ie. UC Davis. Shame on the administration for going back on their word and turning a once public hearing into a closed hearing and calling in a police presence.

  • @Smitz115 Well, this college is primarily a business school and is best buddies with Wall Street, so much so that it actually has its own stock exchange. What do you expect from this college?

  • your inside a frigging building, you can drop the Mike Check BS

  • @bobbyjfromtheuk1 what an insightful comment !

  • Who do they protect? Who do they serve?

  • SHAME> disgusting fucking cops.; DISGUSTING GOVERNMENT. DOWN WITH AMERICA

  • INSPIRED BY THE STUDENTS!

DISGUSTED WITH THE POLICE AND ADMINISTRATION!

  • look at that guy all the way at the back @ 5:28 good aim bro

  • look at that guy at @ 5:28 good aim bro

  • you are not free...just overlooked...for now

  • the last two min is typical cops

  • Almost 20 years ago, I was one of those Baruch students

Now I've learned who Bernard Baruch really was

And the cops have stormed the campus to do this

    For shame......

  • starts at 3:55

  • Don't shorten this video. Keep it the way it is, because people need to see that they were peacefully protesting before the cops came in!

  • @620productions I know it's long but it gets a better and clearer perspective of what happened

  • @gmaynorscale you did an amazing job. do you have anymore because it actually got worse further on.

  • @grafflerab where did we weaponize speech. you just made that up. Listen to the video, we wanted to go to the 14th floor and ONLY talk to the board of trustees. No classes would have been disrupted there.

  • If you pay attention one of the suit guys in the back of the security tells them to push them out. So first act was by the security not the students.

  • Damn

  • If this was shorter it would go viral quicker

  • @620productions the occupy davis video is mad long, it spread like wild fire

  • @MrThery89 Yeah but something was happening all the time during the occupy davis video. Whatever. Just a suggestion. I still re-posted it to Facebook and all my other social networking sites.

  • @620productions No, the police lie and say things like that the protesters threw rock and bottles at them or were violent beforehand. It's important to document the whole story.

  • Comment removed

  • THE COPS FUCKING RUSHED THE STUDENTS. CLEAR AS DAY.

  • holy shit! thsi has to go viral
