Thankfully I've come to like the series in recent years and hope to actually complete a game in the main series (while I do own the third game's DS remake, I can't quite figure out how to progress, and Crystal Chronicles, while I have beaten it, is in an entirely separate continuity, so it doesn't count).
Maybe I should start playing the emulated copy I have on my flash drive...

To be honest, none of the FInal Fantasy villains are original. Kefka? He stole from The Joker. Kuja and Emperor Palamecia? They stole from David Bowie. Cloud of Darkness? Rip-off of Gozer. Garland, Golbez, Exdeath, and Gabranth? HEELLLLOOO, Darth Vader! Sephiroth? I really don't know, he's just a sadist with a god complex. I'm sure his template is out there somewhere.

I don't understand. They haven't remixed this theme in Dissidia, cause this is exactly like Final Fantasy VI's. Does anyone know if there's an orchestral remix of the last phase of dancing mad?
It's a shame gamers these days can't see beyond the 32-bit bullshit and "garbage gameplay". final fantasy 6 was one of the most disturbing games on SNES.

It's one of the only FF games where you've got multiple viable options for developing each character (aside from the ones with job systems). Yeah, sure, a lot of people just go "Quick, Ultima, lol," but that's boring--and still not as satisfying as a properly-raised Locke with the Valiant Knife or an invincible dragoon Mog.

I like both Sephiroth and Kefka a lot (though I prefer Sephiroth just by a bit), but when it comes to theme song, Kefka gets the point (unless you compare it to the AC version of One Winged Angel.)

Originally used by Kefka. Sephiroth burned a village. Kefka poisoned a kingdom. Only thing Sephiroth had bigger then Kefka was his sword, though Kefka didnt need a weapon.

@ledzeppelin01 I played FFX, 7, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 in that order and I love 4 and 6 the most. I would have said 7 but ever since Advent Children came out and all these Cloud and Sephiroth fangirls came out after watching the movie and never playing the game, 7 just lost that something that made it special.

If you don't agree that Kefka is gaming's greatest villain, you haven't played FF6. Don't even try that "opinion" nonsense. There's not a single villain that could compare to that merciless madman's delicious depravity, fact. Saying Kefka is not the greatest character in video game history is like saying the sky is green or that Europe is a country. We can all see through your sorrowful attempts to justify your meaningless life. Meaningless until you play FF6 anyway, and not that GBA garbage.

If they remade this on ps3 with voices then mark hamill should voice kefka, he voiced 2 crazy jokers before the calmer joker in batman tas and the psychotic one who took over in return of the joker.

@wesker100000000 I would have to disagree with you, if they remade FF6 on the ps3 the voice actor should probably be Dave Wittenburg, he was the voice actor for Kefka in Dissidia and Dissidia 012 and he did a great job, view some scenes and you'll agree with me:)

@legofreakkid Well in Japan FF6 Terra's name is Tina because they think it's exotic or something. In KH, Terra was named Terra because it's Latin for Earth. Riku is Japanese for land. See the connection?

@ledzeppelin01 I played FFX, 7, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 in that order and I love 4 and 6 the most. I would have said 7 but ever since Advent Children came out and all these Cloud and Sephiroth fangirls came out after watching the movie and never playing the game, 7 just lost that something that made it special.

@ledzeppelin01 I used to hate Kefka, but now that I know them both, Kefka is amazing in a way, and Sephiroth is amazing in an other. It's a matter of preference, really. I prefer Sephiroth, but I cannot say anything bad about Kefka.

@Donnaclus I haven't played either 6 or 7 enough to know them very well, but what i gauge from outside of those, I think Kefka is better, just because he's insane, whereas Sephiroth is just...there. I played Crisis Core and he's just...there. I'm like "Oh hay there's Sephiroth. What's he doing? Is he watching the paint dry?"
I'm not saying anything against you liking him but I don't find anything exciting about Sephiroth outside of Kingdom Hearts(cuz in Kingdom Hearts he's a force).

If I have a dream or hallucination of some guy claiming to be God which told me to do anything, good or bad, I'm not going to start up a religion and preach to people, I'm going to see a psychiatrist. Besides, whoever thought of religions of any sort were either insane or trying to cheat people for money.
