It's terrible that the English version didn't get voiced skits! I hated playing ToS 2 and then going to the first one, just because of silent skits.

I don't know Japanese but I'm pretty sure this is the one where he's nicknaming everyone. Mainly cause he's saying "Chan" allot and I thought I heard beauty. Also, they are on the bridged where the skit happens. But, I'm not 100% sure. I mean I've beaten this game 5-6 times but I haven't played it for at least 2 years now.

True, but he's more or less just telling them to be friendly. "-kun" (or "-chan" for girls) is used only amongst close friends, so he's basically just making himself their best buddy right off the bat. XD The only way it would have been any closer is if he shortened his name (like Zel-kun or something), but that would've just been creepy. xD

Most Tales games do, I believe. But they dropped it for the original ToS in America. English voicing is also done in the ToS sequel, but they have new voices, besides Presea and Colette. (Besides for the fact that the voicing is... *resisting urge to get sick*

Skits are a bit different in the PS2 version from the GCN version. They revamped most of them so that they move a lot more.
