@MrDirtrider777 Was it #22, or another unit? And where was this assembled? I would have loved for this to be where one would eat lunch! Thanks for commenting.
@55lincoln it was assembled at auto alliance where the mustang is built in flatrock michigan one a week they would display one for a couple of days next to the factory awards and trophy case in the cafateria i have some pics of it from that i took these cars were were assembled thro the body shop then paint department then pulled from the line and the rest was built by hand off line
@MrDirtrider777 Thanks very much for this personal take and experience with this special Mustang Cobra. You have told all of the viewers of this video some information about the build of this car.
I gotta correct myself a little bit. They did swap the tranny to a clutchless type tranny, per the nhra rules- other than that it's as you see it in this video. I want one.
This exact car ran a 9.18 at 152mph right off the showroom floor. This happened at lightning fest about two weeks ago. My good friend Eric Oldham of OMW Racing was at the wheel. The guy who bought this is a great guy and it went to a good home. This car will be raced, not just tucked away unused. Should have some video of it running soon. Pretty impressive!!!
@OVR8D I figured it could move. Eric is the man! He bought himself a valuable Mustang. I'm glad he's racing it and not letting it decay sitting around. Look forward to some exciting video of No. 22 racing. Thanks for commenting.
an amazing car. but whats the deal with them saying it only has 400 horsepower? i dont get it. everyone knows it has at least twice that much. but why do they say only 400hp? do they not want to sell the thing or what?
@tudyr85 they say it only has about 400 hp for insurance reasons. its the same as they did back in the 60's and '70's. they underrated the horsepower when advertised...for insurance reasons. What a nice car though. I want one
they had thisin the cafeateria at the plant it was built at i got some pics of it

I don't know.....maybe horsepower vs. car weight figure that 400 hp rating is enough? But, thanks for viewing and commenting.
