  • Has anyone here taken bolt carrier assembly apart with cadets

  • its bolt release catch and front and rear sling loops and its bolt carrying assemble not bolt also its not bolt catch thats the holding open device! also you forgot things like pistol grip, butt cheak piece etc but overall good job for making this kinda vid :)

  • I feel like every-one else has passed their WHT for this and I am the only one still taking lessons.

  • @PureZOOKS same im doing mine tonight and probs gonna fail....again

  • @echelon4mars tell us how it goes fella?

  • @PureZOOKS Sure i failed again :'( lol oh well and if i'd passed i was supposed to be getting put forward for my lance corporal caus we have to have at least one female lcpl and our female ones leaving. gutted much.

  • Not the bolt. Bolt Carrier Assembly

  • you forgot the magazine catch shroud (in frount of magazine release trigger)

  • A lot changed then like the fact down graded the sa80 to the cadet gp good bye old sliding cocking handle which gives me various nightmares also lots jamming

  • I don't know how good u guys are with measurements but a no8 rifle has a caliber of 0.22 of an inch and an l98a2 has a caliber of 5.56mm which are exactly the same so I ask you why you would have a conversion fitted????? And this video is slightly useless coz there is soo much wrong terminology. Anyway good try!:)

  • @wilmaoffroad the .22 is a completely different round in shape and length, if you look at your no.8 the rounds are barely longer than your fingertips. whereas the longer heavier 5.56mm is better for shooting over longer distances.

  • bolt release catch

  • have you carried out your nsp

  • battle sights have a max of 300 meters! mate!

  • We have a pair of no8s that need serviced and no RCO we are a bit fucked

  • and its recoil rod assembly not recoil springs

  • It's a gas rod not a gas piston

  • thumbs up if you've fired this weapon :)

  • Useful video. Going on a course with atc and had trouble memorizing the names of the gas parts. thanks for the vid.

  • This weapon is piss to take apart

  • Which cadet branch are you in(if your in england) I'm Yorkshire and the Humberside.

  • @Hydrualictrash

    1. It's front sling loop

    2. It's bolt carrying assembly

    3. If u don't like the vid make your own.

  • Muzzle is actually the Flash Eliminator.

Frount sling mount is actually FRONT Sling Hook

    You forgot Pistol grip.

Magazine catch is actually Magazine RELEASE catch

Same again with the Bolt catch it is bolt RELEASE catch

As per the front sling hook it is the Rear sling hook, not mount.

You then have the Bolt Carrier not just "Bolt"

Bolt catch on the right side of the weapon... Didn't we just teach everyone that is on the left?

Not going to tell us what TMH stands for?

    Go elsewhere for this.

  • @hydrualictrash The Flash Eliminator is at the tip of the muzzle. It can be just the bolt, its an acceptable name. TMH is Trigger Mechanism Housing.

  • @hydrualictrash you can hardly say he's got them wrong when you have too:

They are front and rear sling LOOPS not hooks and it is a bolt carrier assembly not just bolt carrier and the part he is actually pointing to is the bolt face so yeah.....

  • u got some wrong

  • well you guys know how everything gets changed

  • Mate ive been told by my adult instructors that its not called a carry hadel anymore but good vid anyway :)

  • @cod6maniac1 Yeah, it's called the rear sight mounting bracket (:

  • The NO8 is being scraped, they don't have the parts anymore. As long as there in working order your have them. when they get broken that it, no more NO8

  • @lozzielizzie NNNOOOOO not the number 8!! I OWN WITH THATS WEAPON!!!

  • Great video! I knew it all anyway :P

As for the NO8 Rifle I found that out last week :)

  • @conorcotton1234 Dahh we have six working and pristine No8's in our armoury, with spares!
