@donaldnewmanmedone i asked cliff about these drums even though i know steven plays the drums on their recordings (dude is so talented). he said its 3 recordings of the same drum pattern, played straight through, and stacked. i agree, the drums are clean and striking, especially against the airy back drop of the tune.

I agree with JOKAMAJA, best track on the album. It's otherworldly and evocative, and I just got into Flaming Lips, and it's said that The Soft Bulletin is their best but I like this album more. Their talent and creativity and musical beauty is right there with Radiohead...well, not as good as Radiohead, but u really can't compete with them
