In my videos I use pictures, not clips. I can't seem to split the picture when I want it to; I have to type in numbers in the duration, meaning I have to use my calculator to do this... Is there a way to split a picture and NOT type in the duration? Or is that like impossible with Windows 7?

or right click and do set start or end point, instead of split and delete

How do you trim out small sections in the middle? You only show stuff being cut off of the beginning. What if I want the beginning, but not a small two minute span halfway through the video?

I think that your issue could have been timing. Sometimes it can take a moment for a new video to be available in it's fullest quality.  The video is up in the highest resolution possible and feel free to watch it full screen.
