Actually the only disctintively different group of people on the Pacific Ocean are those in Papua New Guiniea. However Micronesia & Polynesia, which is a misnomer from the Europeans, are actually Austronesians. Although the islands of Palau, Yap, and Fiji have DNA strains from both Papua New Guinea and from S.E.A., but overall, y'all Austronesians. Look at the cultural similarities in this video starting from 0:20 and on....tell me what you think

Humans have only been around for the last 200,000 years and Polynesia in the last 3000 years which is why dna, cultural and linguistic similarities can still be traced to that area because its a relatively young group in comparison to racial groups of the world where they had over 3000 years to establish genetic and cultural variation by mixing with other groups through migration .

See, I told you. Based on linguistic relations, cultural similarities, and DNA links of the people of Oceania (Micronesia & Polynesia) to that of the South East Asians (S.E.A.) all the way to Madagascar, they're all Austronesians. With the exceptions of Palau, Yap, and Fiji which have strains of Melanesian DNA strains and cultural additions to them. And the Melanesians have separate DNA status and cultural status to that of the S.E.A.

Well obviously if you want to go back that far, then yes you're correct everyone came from Africa. But rest assured that human migration first started into Asia, and into South East Asia (S.E.A.). After human settle in S.E.A., human migration then went on to settle the islands in the Pacific Ocean all the way to Hawaii. And I'm basing my studies on liguistic similarities, archaeological evidence, culture similarities as shown in this video, and DNA evidence.

Tonga got their name from the first Samoan who found the island and call it Toga means South or the south island because Tonga is on the south of Samoa. Because the first samoan that migrated to tonga then mate with fijian who came over after and their kids became the modern tongan and a new race was born. They stated their own culture and later their own kingdom which later on became very strong and then went and invade the motherland of Savaii.

I'm Tongan and have always been told that this came from Samoa.Tongan/Samoans always argue over this/that,but what's amazing to me is.. back in Tonga, history is taught accurately as much as possible including many credits and praises it gives Samoa for many of our customs that were imported/adopted from Samoa. Actually the Tongan empire had already disintegrated before the missionaries arrived, and i dont dispute that, but even the most learned of Tongan academics all agree that all of Tongan dance was borrowed from these areas of the Pacific, no need to be crude, HRH Princess Pilolevu who had Tongan custom and history taught to her by the late Queen Salote admitted that Tongans borrowed dances from around the Pacific.
