  • Subbed. Check out the Kent & North Wales Light Railway for another (live steam) indoor layout!

  • awesome!

  • Totally unbelievable ! I've seen many great layouts in my time, but this is a new dimension altogether... my compliments and admiration. Mind you, you probably could build another Taj Mahal for the money involved ...:-))

  • @whinterberger this layout owner had the money and the interest. pretty amazing!

  • Umm, one question, how did you make those huge mountains, this or dougs are definitely the best layouts in the world...can't help but wonder at the cost (my house?)

  • I have operated his k-36 on the live steam layout. Bu missed the g scale version. Beautiful

  • Great layout ! what sound system do you use?

  • @jcowboy123 Pretty sure Tom used Tsunami's

  • OMG! The best indoor layout ive ever seen!!! Always been a fan of the DRGW and trestle spans!!

  • That was freaking EPIC!!!

  • I would love to have a layout like this in my shed.

  • Wow. Nice layout and nice trestle at the end. Thumbs up from Germany!

  • @megatwingo thank you for subscribing to my videos- Kent

  • Tom has really created the illusion of reality! I don't think I have ever seen a more impressive layout.

  • God, that's a beautiful layout...

I'm building a freelanced G-scale layout out in the garden, modeling a fictional narrow gauge railroad in the Ozarks of Missouri, which I've based on the D&RGW and the EBT railroads, utilizing both electric and live steam models.

  • Awesome!!! I believe I saw this same layout featured in a recent issue of Garden Railways and the sheer scale of the model is amazing. Congratulations Tom.

  • That engine at 1:50 was actually live steam?

  • @beroth1 not live steam. merely G scale electric engines

  • This is as close to Narrow Gauge country as you can get without actually being there.

  • Just road Durango &Silverton and also Cumbres & Toltec, and I agree.

  • wow someone should put some vids of his live steam. that would be awesome

  • How did you make the mountains? Beautiful !!!!!!

  • they actually brought in a special company specializing in mountainey landscapes for model railroading

  • were the trains he used Bachman? Whats your favorite make? Sorry for all of the questions im just strating out building my Garden railway :)!

  • The inside layout is unreal, but the outside trestle is even more unbelievable. I used to be into G gauge and now I am into 7 1/2 gauge, but nothing like this. AWSOME

  • that guys wife gives him a pretty big allowance, and now we all know, where it all went! 4aSweetLayout

  • DAMN that has to be one huge layout

  • WOW as a G scale modeler this is almost close to Heaven

  • You can see Tom's indoor F-Scale layout and his live steam 2.5" outdoor layout on DVDs from Pacific Vista Publishing.

  • his "staging" yard has more track than my backyard!

  • Never knew Tom had a G scale layout. It's amazing by normal standards but is nothing compared to his 2.5" scale stuff.
