@nylotus: You can't add music from itunes because you don't have legal rights to use the music in this way, and itunes doesn't want to get sued for letting you upload a video that doesn't have proper permissions. Your best LEGAL alternative (which will cost $) is to either get permission, or go to a site that supplies background music royalty-free.

Or steal it and hope you don't get sued.

Windows Live Movie maker lags alot of essentials and instead of improving the program its just gotten worse, first off their is no timeline, secondly you cannot drag two audio files to get so they can transit through. Although windows live has its ups with nice effects and can make my video publish in HD its also a weak program that cannot handle a video for more then 6 minutes which I believe is shocking as appose to the previous one that could handle as long as 10 minutes plus.

@SweFazer That's...odd. I think I might have gotten that before. I saw that once I exported the video I think the parts that appear blank will show whatever video they were previously again. I'm not sure though. Maybe you could just erase the empty video and re-import it or something like that?

I want to lower down the music during a speech and then increase it back again. I split the clip in three parts, the middle has lower sound - but the effect is too rough. Also it is not possible to overlap songs - for instance the end of a song is overlapped by the beginning of the next song. These defects should be corrected

@berowra There's no natural way to add two songs simultaneously. You'll need to add your first track, then export the movie. After that, just import the new file and add your second audio file. Hope this helps!

I want to start start a song from the middle (cut the slow beginning off of stariway to heaven) and I cant seem to figure it out.

Is there a way to cut to the middle of a song without the start points and stuff?

also, how do I make a song last longer than the clips. I hate how it just ends at the end of the clip.
