Bill 'o Reilly he is full of shit, I got locked up for 2 day for a whopping .8 grams of weed for 2 day in NYC and most of the people I was locked up with had less than a gram of weed on them. 30 people in all in my part of the jail, the 3 cells I could see. some just for having a pipe or a bong or a joint. they had to run the court for almost 24h a day for 3 days to process all the people. and most of the cases were dismissed or a small fine or UPI,There's 32 cells on the first floor.

In my country (Netherlands) we 'tolerate' cannabis use ( and tax it ). You don't go to jail for possession of any hard drug for own use. Here's some statistics:

In my country (Netherlands) we 'tolerate' cannabis use ( and tax it ). You don't go to jail for possession of any hard drug for own use. Here's some statistics:

Take even HALF of what is put into the system to "fight drugs" now, and use that towards rehabilitation, weening and prevention projects. I guarantee you the total damages to society will be far less.

Guys, it doesn't really matter whether Pot is illegal or Legal, people will always find a way to smoke it and buy it, grow it, and smuggle it into the U.S.
Its called supply and demand, no matter how hard the government tries, they will always FAIL to stop the flow of marijuana. And eventually give up, after they realize wasting billions of dollars isn't worth the opinions of enraged parents across the U.S.
