Believe it or not, Tommy would get stage fright, so he drank before going on stage, which is why he slurred his words a bit. Still, he was a genius just the same

Tommy had a thick west country accent. I think in his last years he had a minor stroke (s) as well.

I didnt know he grew up in the west country. I know he was originally from Wales but i thought he grew up in the South East.
