  • What motor is that out of

  • what kind of ECU did you use?

  • @robertleemorrison1 the transmission will bolt up to it

  • will the trans bolt up to a 4g63?

  • did u use the stock trans?if not what trand did u uus

  • awesome job man. That truck is sweet! Wish Mitsubishi still made pickups around here...all they have are cars and SUV's

  • now thats just sexy

  • very fucking nice...so ifthis is possible, can a 4g63t fit in a m.m..would it be difficult to swap...

  • @Fatyaqui Evo's never had a 4g64, they have a stroked 4g63T.

  • I've thought about putting an EVO engine in my 91 MM, but the headache of finding or fabing the linkage for the tranny gets me. But I bet it's possible, considering that an EVO is a 4g63 and or 4g64. But the 4g63t that is recommended because of it's drop in compatibility but the rear would have to welded and we would need the ECU and wiring harness as well. But what an awesome possibility.

  • imagine putting an evo engine in one

  • now that motor earns the trucks name "mighty" max

  • hows the stock radiator holding up?

  • did you have to fabricate the motor mounts?

  • what motor you got in it?

  • is a v-8 engine swap a pain in the a** in a mighty max? I'm building an engine now to do it, just looking for more information. Thanks brother.

  • damn it....does anybody have a motor swap suggestion for a mazda / ford ranger? i though b13 but i bet the fab is a big headache....

  • @txgato Do the rotary. They are just badass. I would, but I like having 4wd too much to lose it to a rotary.

  • @wiiplayer9isback Bob Barker Died Of AIDS.

  • where did u get the turbo?

  • @thebaldwin123 Up His Ass

  • How did you do your wiring harness? What ECU are you using?

  • haha sweet 4g63

  • hey man what engine do you have in it cuz im looking for one to drop in my mighty max?

  • also, what MAF are you using with that setup?

  • nice SMIM, custom, or ordered?

  • No blowoff valve

  • @partyboyurmom it's right there...., about a foot from the turbo outlet (it takes a 90 degree turn towards the front, right before the front support, all you can see is the silver top, with a hose leading to the right.

  • is that a 4G63 block???? and if it is, will the mighty max/ram 50 readily accept the engine block?

  • nice

  • Shuts down just in time for the end of Tomorrow by Silverchair. Effin Awesome!!

  • dude kick ass motor but it kinda sounds like a weed waker

  • i got a 2.4L 92 mighty max any suggestion, opinions on what i could do to add some modifications but with out a swap?

  • u didnt do the 63 head on 64 block stroker??? im suprised i would have it makes it that much quicker and not to mention easier to do the work to it...hell even if u boosted it it would hold up to decent boost

good job though looks and sounds great

  • This is super cool man. Did the 91 tranny come with a narrow bolt set up? I thought they where all wideblock 2.4's

  • hybrid motor (i call them 4g63.5)

4g64(mm and d50 motor) with 4g63(DSM motor) head and turbo

  • @miniimoto95 LOL 63.5

    I perfer a 64 block + 63 head + 63 crank.

    2.1L

  • @hellzone100

    destroker = win

  • Now i know where all your overtime goes.

  • What about wiring the harness to the body? How did you figure that all out?

  • what motor is that???

  • @ErikH829 4g63 dsm motor

  • thats one bad ass sleeper!

  • you use the 4g63 block or you use the stock 4g64?

  • i've got a toyota supra twin turbo motor and just got a mighty max will the supra motor fit in the truck?

  • youd be better off selling the supra motor and buying a 4g63 from a DSM. You will run into a headache of problems putting the supra motor in there. The 4g63 is pretty much a drop in thing.

  • what about the wiring harness?

  • you will need a ecu and harness from a 1g turbo DSM, they are cheap and easy to come by, you will need a harness for any motor you do but a 4g63 will be the easiest.

  • i just put a 2jz in my mighty max had to cut the floor out and alot of wiring issues but shes show ready now

  • I've been running an H22 prelude engine in my civic hatchback. BUT I Would LOVE to have a light pickup with a boosted 4 banger. DOES IT DROP IN? Are mounts available for the swap? Is it all custom work?

  • Well get a 4g63T and drop it in, needs a little fabrication but it is pretty simple. Get the harness and ECU and you will have the best 4 cylinder motor in the best application. Dont forget to WELD THE DIFF!!!!! And if you do it right you can have a truck like my old mighty max with 500 hp on stock tranny and welded rear end.

  • Hey! nice project. Does the 4g63 fits directly to the originial mighty max gearbox ?

  • yeah but i would recommend a stouter unit

  • Sounds good mate.

I've got an EVO 3 engine in my Triton over here in Aus, so much fun to drive.

    Sounds awesome too!

  • triton is a mightymax still rite?

and will and evo 3 fit directly or is their cuttin and weldin involve?

what transmission idd yu use sry bout all the question just tryin to doo sumthin to my mmm

  • i have an 87 mm i was wondering did you use the stock motor mounts, and what trans did you run?

  • I loved my mighty max, 600hp and a nice 11 second 1/4 mile. The traction sucked though.

  • One day lol!

  • not much room under the hood..what engine? v6? smallblock v8? how much hp does it put out?

  • mighty max! lol

  • 4g63 powered, nice fuckin project man!! big thumbs up!!!

  • I had to change my boxers after taking that test drive in it, and I can't believe thats at 9 psi. Its coming to together nicely man. I can't wait till yer done and go to the track. That thing is fuckin' nutty.
