@brookbabeisaguy115 I had the same issue! I got it to work by hitting extra instead of jailbreak! Than i selected the choose ipsw for the ipod touch (u have to download it)!

than hit back and jailbreak! Try it :) Worked for me

I've been busy working on my degree its been nuts!! anyway i wish they did have a jailbreakme updated jailbreak but it is very difficult to find the proper exploit for those types of jailbreaks. if you have any problems with this one let me know and i'll see if i can help.

@intervenience I wish. Jailbreakme is a userland jailbreak. it works differently than redsn0w. Jailbreakme wont be updated for this firmware because finding the exploits for that jailbreak is like crazy hard to do. This jailbreak isn't really hard. if you have problems i'll see what i can do to help.
