My favorite holiday tradition is every year on Christmas everyone in my family exchange our secret Santa gifts while sitting, talking, eating, and just enjoying each others gifts and company.
My favorite holiday tradition is waiting for my children to go to bed to place their presents under the Christmas tree. We gather together on Christmas morning and watch them open their presents so that we can take pictures while they show off their new items.
This is our first Christmas with my one year old son. Last year he was born on 12/21/10 but had received traumatic brain injuries @ birth & was instantly transferred to another baby/children hospital where he was in ICU on every machine imaginable to survive. So this Christmas, just to wake up in the morning with him, playing Christmas music, opening gifts and remembering Jesus Christ as we Thank him for blessing our son & giving him a second chance of life.

My favorite tradition for the holidays is going to church on Christmas Eve for our Annual Candelight Service and then going to my grandmothers for dinner and our Annual Talent Show!

My favorite tradition for the holiday is when all my family get together at my grandmother's and take turns playing santa every year while listening to christmas music.Its not often that we get to get together threw out the year.So when we do get to get together its nice to see everyone we havent seen in a while get eat really good food.

Then the next day on Christmas after everyone has dinner, we pick one house to gather at for HOURS lol to exchanges gifts, play games and just appreciate being with our love ones. My favorite holiday tradition that I do with the fam is on the 23rd of every yr we go give back to those that dont have. This yr we're renting out a banquet room we're serving food ($10 a plate) holding a raffel & auction ($3 per raffel ticket) and having some good music. All money & donations go directly to a charity the next day. We've done it twice before. Its so much fun family friends and coworkers getting together having a god time while we're helping those who dont have. ((:

We remember what Christmas is truly about, the birth of our Jesus Christ. We remember those who are not with us. We remember about the past. We spend time w/ our loved ones around the dinner table while playing Christmas songs. We pray for a happier, healthier, and blessed new year.
We start the day off by playing Christmas songs all day, watch Christmas shows on the TV, cook a home-made brunch, open presents, visit our ancestors at the grave yard and enjoy the evening w/ the family for a Christmas dinner. We try to go to bed early & hit the malls the day after for some day after Christmas sales!

my favourite holiday tradition is making the traditional Japanese New Years' meal. Every year, my mum prepares a special Japanese breakfast, the same one for three days, with specific japanese foods that have a symbollic meaning, for example, a red kind of ginger means 'to live long'.
What we do is decorate our house inside out and to make time go by quick before opening our presents we like to play Loteria(bingo)...its so much fun!!
My favorite christmas tradition is when my Mom buys a new pair of pajamas for me, my brother and sister to wear on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas, my dad get's up early and makes the best pancakes. We all eat together and watch some christmas cartoons and movies. And then we take turns opening gifts. We do this every year!!

my favorite tradition is donating gifts to the Salvation Army to our elderlies who ask for the smallest gifts like: a pair of socks, a can of bug spray, a hand towel, a bag of snacks. When I read that, it brings a tear to my eye that they never ask for bigger, better things b/c that's not important to them although they may be in need of it due to financial reasons. It teaches me that it's not about the big gifts, small gifts make them smile!

my favorite christmas tradition is when my whole family gets together and just spend time talking and eating. that is why i love christmas because you never know when that could be taken away so we should not take our family for granted. even if i don't when god bless you and your family :-)

my favorite christmas tradition, is getting with aaall my family at my grandmas house, cook various deliscious meals, have good music, dance, and laugh and sing. what we also do is on christmas eve open only one christmas present, then on christmas day open the rest of our gifts. its veeery fun!!: ) i loove it!

Our family holiday tradition is at midnight (Christmas Eve) everyone is allowed to open one gift. We bake cookies and have hot chocolate or wine and eggnog for the adults. Great time!

my favorite tradition is donating gifts to the Salvation Army to our elderlies who ask for the smallest gifts like: a pair of socks, a can of bug spray, a hand towel, a bag of snacks. When I read that, it brings a tear to my eye that they never ask for bigger, better things b/c that's not important to them although they may be in need of it due to financial reasons. It teaches me that it's not about the big gifts, small gifts make them smile!

I look forward to this every year because our relationship use to be sooo strained but once I grew up and started cooking with my mom I learned a whole new side of her.
