192 people have awful taste in music. I mean, just awful. Shameful, really. The superficiality and completely unintentional facetiousness of this music is appallingly offensive to any real music - music with meaning, with quality, with authenticity, and with honest soul. This doesn't even feign at a soul. It feigns at nothing. And I don't need a change in latitude. You all need a change from platitude. See, I can rhyme too.

@MonsieurMadeleine I'm sure whatever music you listen to is good, but please have respect for the soul that so many people get out of this music. This music is feel-good, but does that mean it's not good? Steel drums don't have to equal faux pas: this song has a deep message, if you care to look at it the right way. Buffett and his fans know this isn't high-brow, high-class music, but they love it for what it is because it's accessible to them. It has meaning to them, sir. Respect it.

@justjumble Hey, thanks for the tolerance on that post. I appreciate you temperance. I was just drunk and was trying to pick a fight for no good reason. I share your sentiments as well. Certainly music does not have to be high-brow in order to achieve meaning. I'm actually a proponent of the idea that music that attains the highest degree of honesty and truth is that born naturally out of the need and desire of the people who accompany it's presence. But then realize that it's not for you - because, although I was out of line and certainly disrespectful, telling someone to "go die" is even more disrespectful. I hope it doesn't reflect you actual feelings in such cases when you find yourself at odds with someone; that you would just wish for their death because you disagree. Also, telling me to "go die" betrays your own argument about attitudes. I was drunk. What's your excuse?

I've seen JB 4-5 times over the years. Always a great concert. I agree about the shouting. It annoys me to no end. Studio albums are the way to go - except Anguilla. That is an great CD and DVD.

I was there that night and Jimmy was certainly in his element. Supposedly Miami-Dade will restore Miamarina that was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in '92 but those bucks are also part of the new Marlin's stadium financing. Think we can do both...just not right now.

Jimmy is the best but I totally agree. When the live series came out (live at las vegas, live at hawaii) i stopped buying them after I got a couple because he constantly does that shouting shit at in all of the songs. I felt like my money was better spent on his classic studio albums
