Nice but not the best, for freeware aircrafts, i think MD-80 by FSND and Concorde 2011 (for jet-planes). Socata TBM-700 and AFG Super King Air 300 for turboprop engine are the best. These 4 aircrafts have beautiful cockpit.

I followed your link and flied the plane, is great but when I installed the acceleration pack, the propeller went black so you could not see through it. So I got rid of it. :(

the secret for removing lag is to have fast processor, but a fast and big ram is very important too (like 8gb 1333mhz... it's great)

I have a HD 5850, AMD Quad with 3.0 GHz, 4gb RAM, and computer still lags???? FSX has really high specifications, hahaha.

Might get the i7 soon, because fsx mostly depends on the CPU, not really the GFX card.

It's not RAM that determins FSX's FPS. FSX is a CPU based Codec. basically the faster the CPU the higher. How many cores it has makes no difference. FSX want something around 3 Ghz or higher. If it's quad-core... all the better.

you should set fraps to half quality it happens in my laptop its laggs when recording so when i set it to hafl qality i agian up to 14fps recording

I'm impressed that you can even run ultra high on a $600 computer, but that doesn't look fun. Seriously, If you want maxed out scenery and fun (high fps) you really need to invest. I was a recent skeptic but the low end i7's are no joke number crunching monsters for a wallet friendly $200.

For the casual user though I am highly impressed.

What's your system specs? Go to Start>Run>Enter CMD and hit enter, then type in "dxdiag" and hit enter. When the box pops up click save all information :)

System might be too poor for FSX, or you may need to lower the settings.

Plenty of ram, it'll probably be your CPU's as their only 1.9Ghz (can install more but idk how!). What about graphics card? You could also clock your pc if you wana risk your pc's health for performance.

Quite an old card but should be ok, dedicated memory is quite low though, mines 243. Updated your driver lately? On google search for "nvidia drivers" and go onto their site. If you click on Option 2 Graphic Drivers it'll automatically detect it for you :)

Hope that helps, if it doesn't then there's probably nothing else you could do apart from get a new card or lower the game settings.

Yesterday i ticked the graphics settings a little bit and fsx literally took off i was getting 50 to 60 fps while not recording and when i tried to record it fell to 15. I was so amazed with the performance that i kept playing for 3 hours non stop :P

I use 'HyperCam' though it isn't the best program. It does fine for me. If you're not using Vista then try 'GameCam'.

I you have anti-aliasing on, turn it off, and put the filtering to billinear, and your framr rate will increase about 10 fps and it doesn't really affect the graphics, try it...
