This is just fun. The chicks can play pretty well, and I'm glad they aren't trying to do this as tribute theater, or as a too-faithful cover band. They rock pretty well, although from what I've seen, they're kind of phoning it in; the energy level of the performances need to come-up quite a way to match the volume knob.

CBS Sunday Morning deserves a plug here; GREAT show.

Melissa Etheridge does Zeppelin? No way... Sexism my ass. You're just simply not that good. The vocals may be on key but the tone is irritating and the guitar leads are robotic yet sincerely lacking the integrity of the influences that Jimmy Page had. You would have to know music a lot better to impress me.

It's nice to see an all-girl Led Zeppelin cover band, but I think the Wilson sisters of Heart did better Zeppelin covers. Vocally, Ann Wilson was the female Robert Plant. It's amazing that the Wilson sisters were playing this kind of blistering rock and roll back in the '70s. It's strange how, thirty years later, we still think it's a big deal for women to play Zeppelin or that type of rock music. The Wilson sisters were such pioneering women in rock.

saw them this summer, at a festival, only because the people i was with wanted to. and thank god i did. they are fucking incredible. i was honestly in awe when they were playing. also very very entertaining, it was one of the few bands where no one was walking away during the middle of it.

I don't think you can understand the power of Lez Zeppelin unless you've seen them live. I'm a pro musician and I've been lucky enough to see some mind-blowing live performances in my life. LZ is close to the top in terms of being powerful, memorable and solid. And I'm not a Zeppelin fan (don't know whether that makes me more or less credible :)).

If you have seen them, the general consensus seems to be HOLY CRAP or WOW! If you go to one of their concerts without realizing they are incredible musicians and performers, then you are going to go completely insane and enjoy one of the best live performances you have ever seen. And if you know how good they are, then you have seen them already, and you are there to see them again!

I'm a HUGE Rock fan and Led Zeppelin is my favorite band. Period. I saw these women play at Bonnaroo this year and I was BLOWN away! Before I was like, o ya we'll go see them. After they were my favorite show at Bonnaroo, beating Chris Rock, Umphrey's Megee, Pearl Jam, and Metallica. A definate must see, live in concert.
