  • As a (proud) Briton - I am sorry. My predecessors should never have been in your nation. It's in theory as a modern 'humanist' all history, but realistically I feel it informs your opinion of yourselves and us, and that's simultaneously tragic and as it should be. But please do know that we modern Britons do stand solemnly in shame for this.

    Again, my apologies for my ancestors' vile and shameful actions on the people of the Republic. I hope one day we move on as proud, independent cousins.

  • @mongohotline Thanks for the comment !, i'm an Irishman with many family members from britain ,and my own grandfather fought in the first world war,i think we should leave the past be the past and work together to build stronger relations with our great countries , the biggest enemy of Ireland isn't britain but the EU and globalists and major business corporations who want to exploit Ireland
