i have SE P1i modified from internal to external see my videos here just type(sony ericsson P1i pimp SP3,Pimp P1i). the only dif. bet. P1i and w960i is the walkman player and the 8gig. memory. now the walkman player can be imported to P1i the walkman player V3.0 which i also have in my P1i.memory?8gig is also available now adays and i also have it and alot of new app. installed like G900 notes,BTradar,torch,SM,etc.UIQ RULEEEZZZ

If you had like 10 tasks running it would crash very easily while you can have 20 tasks running with the p1i and still continue working perfectly. SE promised a lot of firmware updates, but recently they've stopped. I guess that instead of working on the firmware of the p990 they just made the p1i with all the neccesary updates.

The p990i is a piece of junk, you got that right joppas82. They put everything from the p990 into the p1i and doubled the ram from 64mb which is way to low, to 128mb which is great ! the p990 sucks because it's instabillity.

If you know where to look you can get these at $500, but people also try to make a buck so the majority of sales you see people will price these closer to the $700 range. This phone is the one of the best on the market. It is missing nothing, a perfect upgrade from the M600! This is phone has it all, can't think of anything that can compare. iPhone's no where close to this quality, SE's the way to go.

oh pleasssee..the P990i SUCKS!! i have one and i regret buying it!! I bought it for almost £400 in the philippines,and after 4months in the market,it dropped to a shocking £150..check it online.. greenhills shopping center website(go to cellphone gallery-just remember, £1 = 91 philippine pesos)..this phone is just not worth it.

p990i aint no piece of junk...its working flawlessly for me..imo, p1 isnt the upgrade to the p990i...i'll still keep my p990i..its gr8 n much better than the boring N series..

well if you have a p990i stick with it, if your going to upgrade to a p1i, dont do it as of yet because SE may make or develop a new smartphone with gps which will rock the pda/smartphone world, right now im going to stick with my m600i it does the job so yeah

actually the p990 is a peice of junk thats why they came up with the p1i, btw how old is the p990i anyway bout a year old or so? pretty quick to make a new p serries phone aye? if you read user feed backs on cnet asia about the p990i you prolly change your mind and the p1i has more fuctions then the p990i

the n95 cam maybe 5mp but the sensors inside are still naff so its pretty much still a 2mp. Saying its 5mp is just a marketing ploy

Hows the firmware? My old N70 was slow as you like. I cant decided if I prefer Nokia or Sony Ericsson or any of them lol. I might just do a serious downgrade from my p990 and get a bananaphone or something haha.

lol man i had a p990 2 months back and then i got an n93 it was BLAZING FAST man thats how i found out how cool nokia new nseries is, then i got the n95 and its really fast and almost flawless, blows away all sony ericssons
