To be fair, it seems like the plot in this game seems to take itself seriously and the actors did so as well, compared to Ape Escape 3 at least [never played 2] which seems to be a lot more self aware of the fact that it's a game about catching silly monkeys. It also had Steve Blum.

Not that I'm necessarily knocking this game because of it--It kinda adds to its charm in a way, but that's just me.

LOL i had the same demo disc but i forgot what were the other games on the disc. I just remember I couldn't play ape escape cause the analog parts of the controller were necessary to play and all i got to do was switch weapons while standing in that first level xD

Never realized how god awful the acting was lol, what person laughs like 3 times miniacally in between parts of his own monolog? sucks that the new ape escapes (if you consider them new now anyways) suck so much.
