Its great, except at 1:03 I swear on the record he shifts those 16th notes to a slightly sharper pitch. Am I wrong or am I hearing an over tone or over dub effect? I hear 2 pitches on the CFH album like Dime moves the postition up for a run and then back down.

I haven't used the 27th fret that much, it's not really the fact that it has 3 extra frets to play, it's the fact that those 3 extra frets bring all the other frets farther from the body so you can reach them with ease.

Reaching the upper frets with it is a breeze. It is amazing for playing solo's :)
