Hi Mike, It's the VIO Pov1 helcam. It's a bit expensive.

A lot of guys are happy with their GoPros though.

Ha ha. I know what you mean about checking that oil level. Mine is a little iffy. Sometimes it disappears from the window, and then it comes back...it's not very confidence inspiring.

Yep, it's hilarious sometimes. Same here. It disappears out of view and then 10 minutes later it's back. WTF? It's happened so many times now I just check it at the start of a ride and forget about it that way I can wring it's neck and not worry about it failing.

Is the reverse S/T footage annoying because it looks bad to you or would you rather see what was coming ahead. What if I spliced it with forward facing vid of the same section? Just curious and hoping to make better vids bit by bit.

It's actually the POV 1. Older brother of the POV1.5.

The VIO is a great setup. I like the durability and the long recording ability the most.

I've landed on my unit at 30-40mph on my belt, direct hit.

You lose the footage if it takes a knock but the unit still works

I'm amazed.

I've had some hard get-offs with it too. But haven't lost any footage yet because of it. Very tough unit.
