It's unfortunate, but stuff like this does happen in Texas since laws here still state that you can refuse service to homosexuals. I just watched a study that a news network did about it a few months ago. It's very sad but the detective was right in his statement. They weren't in any way breaking the law, they exercised their right to be prejudice and the law was on their side. If only more open-minded politicians would step up here in Texas, something could be done about this..

It's unfortunate, but stuff like this does happen in Texas since laws here still state that you can refuse service to homosexuals. I just watched a study that a news network did about it a few months ago. It's very sad but the detective was right in his statement. They weren't in any way breaking the law, they exercised their right to be prejudice and the law was on their side. If only more open-minded politicians would step up here in Texas, something could be done about this..

No, you have it so wrong. Using the N word is discriminating, of course it is wrong. but the term gay or homosexual is not wrong, it is used to describe what their sexuality is- gay or homosexual. It's the same as saying someone is straight or bisexual, not discriminating, its what they are. Now if I were to say, you know, the "F Word" or "Q Word" to describe gays, that would be wrong. But using the term "gay" is not wrong, unless you say something like "that's so gay." So now you see my point.

There have been babys born with 2 heads but because of statistics having only 1 head is perceived as normal. Children brought up by lesbians and gay men are well-adjusted, have good levels of self-esteem and are as likely to have high educational attainments as children raised in more traditional heterosexual families. studies have been done that shows that children in gay families are no less likely to be unhappy or misfunctioning in society than children in straight families.

Ok,if I'm in a public venue,be it cinema,diner,wherever,I would have an issue with overtly disproportionate displays of affection,regardless of the sexuality of the two people involved.But that's just me.But for two people to actually be ejected from a venue 'cause they happen to be of the same gender,&,from all accounts just swapping a fairly inoccuous 'peck' is just ridiculous in the extreme.Yet again,some overly sensitive hettie has a moan & immediately something is done about it.

Public display of affection is illegal in many states for straight and/or gay people, but a business has the right to refuse service to anyone. I applaud this resturant for thier brave and proper action in maintaining a safe and comfortable enviorment for thier moraly decent customers who dont want to be offended by sexual deviants who are breaking the law.

For crying out loud, why is this still a problem in some restaurants?! 2 men or women kissing in a restaurant does not authorize them to be kicked out of the restaurant, otherwise they should have applied the same rule towards a straight couple too! US honestly has no consideration for constitutional rights and values and continues with this barbaric behavior of kicking people out of a restaurant because of a gay kiss. This issue really needs to be changed or it's only going to get worse.
