Best composer: Thomas Bergersen. Why, because he not only composes songs as good as Zimmer and Jablonksy, but he's only 31, so he's also a lot younger. That is some talent.

But between Zimmer and Jablonksy, I pick the latter. Because with Zimmer, I mostly only rememeber the themes, and not the individual trakcs.

The time when the epicness stops but echos further to softer tones. Gives the music a sense of gigantic scope.

Like a massive sigh the movie gives after it's massive climatic event that takes your breath away and then the massive screen becomes still and you give a large exhilarating breath recovering from what you just witnessed. D8

Sometimes those short moments in-between make all the impact. :)

Finally saw DOTM and I think it may be my favorite Transformers movie!! It's been awhile since I've seen the original, but it topped ROTF in every way (except for Shia and Megan's chemistry). It felt more focused story and character wise and this scene when the Autobots leave is a 'prime' example of that. Love how the camera lingers on Sam for like 20 sec when he see's the explosion. Then I was in awe for the last hour!! Michael Bay really stepped up for this one.
