i had a 1966 bonneville 2+2 421 what a ride and i only payed $1,500 in 1968 for it i took the 421 had it bumped up 40 over and put it my 1966 GTO now this car was a beast with a tri power and 456 gears in the rear chevy's and mopars were eating my exhaust .remember now this was back in 1968 the ran a 10.90 at 129 miles it was fast for the times .
a firmiliar sound like a well tuned stock pontiac. it's hittin like clockwork and I bet it has about 400 lbs of torque right there off idle. that's just what my 400 sounded like with 068 cam and #48 heads..... high cr like yours. cool vid.
i have a 68 myself well.. catalina i nought it after it sat behind the garage at my job for 5-7 years in new york elements. but after a few weeks of saving and fixing it in my spair time at work i bouht it and its on the road right now. it sadly looks like a lowrider, lavender color, pink-ish and purple flames, white vinyl top, black leather interior with fuzzy dice, old-school p.m.d. hub caps and white walls... but its in great shape minus a rusty quarter panel. it has a 400 with 400 hydra tran
The last years I really fell in love with this model!!. I dont know if I will buy a 65 Bonneville, or a 65 Catalina though, since the parkingspaces in Holland/Europe are way to narrow... and I will probably use the car as a daily driver... not sure yet.
I really like 'em both!, and I would love to see one in action!...
I saw this vid a few times already, love these cars, and I hope you will upload some vids of the work in progress. Good luck! und Mahlzeit!
Hey Paul, yes, correct.. i will let it like it is.. redone the interior with orginal nice used parts.. i only think about an repainting in orginal paint.. have a set 8 lugs ..
Sorry, not for sale.. just bought 2 years ago and spent over 9000 $ parts in it..the car is rust free, very solid and needs only a perfect paint job to be a NOS matching perfect show car..the car has made big progress in the last year.. Good luck at searching!
I've always been a huge fan of the mid to late 1960s full size Pontiacs with 1965 being my top favorite year, I thought the 1965 full size Pontiac's were even plusher looking than the 1965 Cadillac's.
Woah,theres a Bonneville on my uncle`s backyard.
Its from my uncle`s wife dad. He is selling and it still works anyway.
The first muscle car i ever touched.
