saw it was printed by Canadian Bank Note Company LLC. which is a company that prints our bank notes (Money). They also handle printing of money and handle the lotteries. They are a LLC and nothing in the website says they are a government agency. So I have to ask this. What is a publicly traded company doing with my birth information?

Lol I find I funny how so many ppl say we will go bankrupt. Take a look at all the companies in the states stealing oil out of Alberta or lumber in bc. We might be selling it dirt cheap but we should still be getting some of the proceeds. in Syria no citizens work unless they want too Canada produces 1/3 of the worlds oil ( that's only one res, I'm not mentioning the gold, diamonds ect) so why cant we share the same luxury why must we give everything away?

For all the rude and nasty naysayers who can't believe their birth certificate can discharge debts, well, Gotcha! People ARE successfully doing this despite the fact that the debtors don't like it and WILL try to resist it and intimidate you into paying the bill DOUBLEY. you, sir, are a bonehead. you really had me going for a while there until i looked up the legal definition of remittance which is an instrument for the payment of bills - not a credit and read the MICR codes in the H-6 document. the ON-US means if they owe you a credit, not that the bill is paid by someone else. also i think that the birth certificate you used was american because it refered to the treasury. they have a secretary of the treasury while we have a minister of finance. nice try.
