I saw these guys at the El Rey in 2005, and when this came on, I got lifted off my feet by an army of teenagers. My feet came off the ground, crowd surfers almost broke my neck, I broke my glasses, I was drenched in sweat, exhausted, sore, and I didn't care. It was the most amazing moment in my life

I like the Aquabats, but not a lot anymore. They lost their ska-factor. Their horns suck, you can't win w/ an alto-saxophone. The trumpet was alright, but when you combine them w/ Streetlight Manifesto who has the best horns of all ska bands, well it makes it good, and that is what I was trying to argue. But I'm just saying, overall, the bands just have two totally different outlooks on their lyrics. Like both ends of the spectrum, no lie.

~The Aquabats 'horn' is weak. Streetlight's 'hornS' are fantastic, so it really adds to the Aquabats

~I just think they have two different styles, and it does make Streetlight look sort of bad playing with these goofballs (mean that in a good way, who doesn't like 5 men dressed up in cyan spandex playing ska?)

Aquabats to me seem more fun, Streetlight seems more of a deeper, meaningful-lyrics band. Just my .02.
