  • How on earth are people still buying Pioneers???

  • Amazing high quality effects! My only concern is why the bpm counter fluxuated to 171 bpm at 1:21 then back to 128 BPM at 1:36. Also at 3:01 & 3:07 resepectively. As DJs we don't want to resort to reading the BPM for mixing but for the syncing effects to the tempo it's important that it's accurate. It changed even while the 4 on the floor kick was occuring, not at a breakdown where there is no beat. Not that this would persuade me from buying it, it's just an anomaly I found peculiar.

  • if anyone is seriously considering buying one of these, hit me up......i am have to downgrade for school :(

  • Great review! track? hahaha

  • does these mixer have a tractor record when you buy this? tnx

  • I got one of these and a 1210 and a pair of CDJ2000's, the mixer is flipping mental!!

  • Well,we know that the machine doesn`t count bpm so good,so. It sucks

  • @manugarbaccio But this will be resolve in the next firmware update like they do in the DN-S3700 players, also is very possible that update bring the other effects that the DN-X1600 have

  • @xicot86 You are correct sir! This mixer is now slave to your software in terms of midi clock (bpm). All mixers should do this in the first place

  • Pioneer makes the best CD decks, no doubt, but in the mixer department, I think Denon and A&H are better and should be picked up by major clubs.

  • Also, I really miss those days when The Xone92 was THE standard, I've yet to hear a mixer that sounds as warm and has filters anywhere as good...

I hope some good clubs install the X1600 or X1700 alongwith the DJMs...

Xone mixers are scantily seen these days, thanks to Pioneer's aggressive marketing, but A&H make superb mixers and the quality of their filters is still untouchable!

  • I've come to agree that the X1700 sounds better than the DJM 900, having tried them both.. I've always preferred Pioneers as they're pretty much the club standard, but I strongly believe that the Denons have started to sound better.

  • for me its the best mixer at the momment !!! daim this shit is hot!!!

  • what's the song?

  • Shit!!! The best Mixxer that i ever seen! better than the Pioneer DJM 700 but nerlay better than the DJM 800

  • @CSSPWNER1494 No doubt it's better then the DJM800.. the 800 isn't that good.. it's just that it's popular

  • @CSSPWNER1494 drop the nearly, replace by WAAAYYYY

    djm800 = old sh&t

  • Get what u like and what u think its best!!!but dont always say : DENON iS SHiT! BEHRiNGER iS CRAP!! NUMARK iS GARBAGE!!! iN the end we all know whats good and whats not,but sometimes in the Behringer Case this SHiT companys can still surprise us and gettin better bit by bit!!!it is the best example, maybe the next Behringer Mixer is nearly as good as the DJM800!! WHO KNOWS,just let them do their work and dont speak so bad about companys u guys dont like!!!

  • Did u guys ever think that Behringer could make a Mixer like that???i not!!!i know for sure its not the best quality inside but nearly the same as Pioneer for example. This time Behringer made a totally different thing and People are very happy with this Mixer. And it costs a SHiT!!!With Denon its the same thing,Denon nearly is as known as Pioneer, good Products, good quality, but they break often!!!i had only problems with denon..and problems with pioneer too,NOTHiNG iS PERFECT!!!

  • Cant u guys just leave this FANBOY stuff???Please!!!Look, the reality is this: Pioneer is the MOST USED Equip in Clubs cause Pioneer is an established Company and everybody knows or thinks they sell only quality, but thats not true...they mostly using the same chips as other companys! They put some good Faders in their Mixers for example, but u cant see whats inside....but they are good and they have a LONG life....but look at the new Behringer DDM4000!!!

  • It looks pretty nifty, but I honestly think i will stick with my DJM-800

I have to admit, this Denon does look nice though. Would defenitely be my 2nd choice from what I have seen of it so far.

  • Pioneer is good; but this mixer sounds better and does way more stuff. I have used them all. I would leave a comment like i will keep my pioneer' if a better mixer came out too. Pioneer is not as good as u people think

  • Yeah! "Quality"! Listen carefully @ 3:00! Q.E.D.

  • he just used wrong filter, which sounds awful with this song, that's it.

  • great mixer but its a bit of a ripoff.. 1800 dollars?! no thanks

  • Rather get a nice Pioneer mixer with that money ! LOL

  • You will come up short with any pioneer in that price rage. Pioneer is good; but denon is better. Real dj's make denon products, not wanna be dj's.

  • you think i didnt know that ?:S

  • bit expesive when you can pick up an 800 for 1200

  • Huh... how about Denon DN-X1500? 500 GBP and better than any DJM.

  • That mixer does not come close. Pioneer is not the best like most of u think. It cost more because it is better. I have used them all.

  • You get what u pay for in this game, go get a behringer or something

  • lol BPM fail 1:34 overall looks like a great mixer

  • wats the song?

  • its like virtual dj effect bord :S

  • No it is not, you can not apply the effects as fast and as accurate as with a separate mixer. 2 denon 3700's and that mixer give u way more control and speed than any laptop software program.

  • number one ;D

  • No one cares
