It's different every year I'm afraid. I observered it in the West Midlands area last year, however this year the field is used for crops.

When is the duration of the poppy season? Any chance you can tell me when it is for Loire Valley region?

Cheers. June/July for France and UK It is however, very difficult to spot a dense poppy field like this one. It even made it to the national news!
