glad things turned out alright.... but you should inform your close friends about your condition.... I would not have guessed that at such a young age you have this condition... you look like a healthy young teen....
Hi how are you? this video made me very sad and disturbed, i have hypoglycemia and what your friends did was horrible. it's obvious you are really ill and they are taking advantage of the fact. so sad.. Im so happy you are good now. you said when they arrived that your sugar was 80 and thats not low.
@nightgangl7 It's not, and when the paramedics had me try to keep moving while they ambulanced me to the hospital, my blood sugar dropped down to unreadable levels (at least in my finger tips, where they took the blood samples). After they added a sugar-rich formula to the IV, my blood sugar was really low, something like 30, and that was minutes after the IV treatment
@brownspottedbanana Wow your such a dick. I've seen you comment on other videos that have to do with diabetes, especially the one where you laughed at the guy's girlfriend because she died from this, and made a joke from it. My baby brother was diagnosed a year ago, and all you do is tease diabetics and tell them their worthless and waste of space? You keep saying that, cause one day your gonna say that to the wrong person, and get your ass kicked.
@Florey96 Lol its actually funny cause diabetes runs in my blood and ill probably have it, but i can at least crack some jokes. its not like im actually gonna be a dumb ass and publisize my diabetic coma first. that is totally ASSANINE. "hey world guess what my wife had a diabetic coma please dont say rude things" yoouuuuu faaaggggssss. its just a youtube comment lighten the fuck up a little
@brownspottedbanana Yes, i agree with you that people shouldn't post videos like that all the time; although its seriously not right to laugh and make jokes when someone was actually killed, or very close to it. You can atleast show a little sympathy for all the families you teased for having this.
Ok....Here's a question? What was your friend doing with lipstick? Is it the person who's filming this, lipstick? Cause I would wonder why he had lipstick in his back pack in the first place?....
is it not common sense how you just lay there and not have any reaction to what they are doing to you- u would think, looking at their age, they would actually have the sense to know that something is up...obviously not.
i am glad you put the bunny ears ( " " ) on the word friend.
@vicarious7777 By the time the paramedics arrived, I was able to open my eyes and lift my arm and it was 80. They kept trying to get me to move the whole ambulance ride to the ER, and when they took it again, it didn't even register (it was from the fingertip that time). They put my on an IV dedicated to bringing up my blood sugar and took it again a minute later and it was only 30. My normal levels (after eating) are around 120
that shit isnt funny. i have type one diabetes and those are NOT friends. friends are aware of your condition anf dont fuck around with you when you need help...
These kids are dangerously stupid. But you should tell your friends this can happen. Friends and anyone around you on a regular basis. I am glad you are ok now.
Could have gone into a coma there. You were lucky to be alive. I dropped to a 22 blood sugar level once and thankfully my parents found me. Everyone that you come in contact with over the course of a normal day for you should always know what to do if you end up like that.
@justmissjulie not diabetic. Anyone can go into hypoglycemic shock simply by not eating, or in my case, having something sugary with no protein. Even if someone were just sleeping, this isn't really acceptable behavior, particularly if they can't wake up
@Chocovash That happened to me before it was a very funny storey I passed out in the doctors office from no ventelated and I put my shouilder out of place and my blood suger level dropped to 24
MORONIC IDIOTS!! You could have easily died and they're playing with you like you're just passed out. In fact, you WERE dying because when your blood sugar goes that low a number of really bad things can happen. I've been there myself so I know first hand what can happen to you. Once it goes that low it can keep falling and when it gets too low then you're dead. I'll bet they wouldn't have thought it was so fucking funny then. Stupie cockfucks.
I can not believe how your stupid ass friends reacted to your condition. If they new you were passed out and did not worry about you, then they really did not care. If one of my friends were passed out I would call 911 immediately and keep checking to see if they are still breathing. Now I wonder what would my teenage sons friends do if he was in your shoes. Very Scary. Glad you are all right. Take care of yourself.
that's the name of the video=If you're interested in fighting "the Machine" Such as ALLIE BEATTY of Love diabetes-She's in constant struggle with pharmaceuticals corps like ELI LILLY and gives very good information about C Peptides missing in insulin Allie Beatty on Youtube
I know what that's like. I've never gone fully unconscious, but It's gotten bad enough I've collapsed and been unable to move. It feels like your body weighs 1000 pounds and you cant get it to move.
wow honestly, that guy should have called 911. Even if he thought it was a joke, after that long it's clearly not. I hope you dont hang with that homo nemore.
Hey, I got the same disease! I survived the worst symptoms except of loosing conciousness and falling into coma. Those who do, either die or are left braindamaged for the rest of their lives. You were lucky enough for surviving both of these options. Mostly the time is crusial! If loosing consiousness, it's a great idea if someone near you put some druesugar to your mouth as quickly as possible. Why some, like here in Sweden take it so lightly makes me so mad.
Been there and been like that, I saw them put the sugar in your mouth, but no one saw the amazing turn-around of diabetes...AND sometimes your heart doesn't wait, it STOPS! Ooops, no second takes... Everyone please call 911 for this type of "insulin reaction". Now they know it causes brain damage...TIA's look it up.
I'm Type 1 Brittle Juvenile Diabetic since 1966, yea still have eyes, kidneys, fingers, toes, TAKE better care of yourself.
I am quite offended by that -_- If you notice, they prop me up and when I am unbalanced, I fall to the side, almost into my gay friend's lap (ew). There's another video I posted from the hospital room in St. Jude's after I was taken there. I didn't post this to get attention, mostly just to show people I know what to look out for if they're with me
damn dude ur friends are fucking dicks i would fucking smash their faces in with a bat and then play around with their passed out bodies for a few minutes and then i might get help just before their brain stops working
What exactly did your friends think was wrong with you? Any person with half a brain can see you needed help, not being pulled about like that! I have hypoglycemia and I would be more than a bit pissed off if my friends did that to me, I would expect 'friends' to get help. I think you need some new ones mate
The gay guy was an old friend, and he convinced them that I used to just fall into really deep sleeps. It wasnt until another more recent friend got out of class and mentioned that I had gone into hypoglycemic shock before that they called 911.
your friends are morons! If you are diabetic it is your responsibility to alert all of your "Friends" of your condition and what to do in an event like this. My 7 year old son is type 1 diabetic and I fear every day that he has "Friends" like this.
I wasn't really diagnosed with hypoglycemia by this point, but I had 'crashed' from low blood sugar only twice before. People with fast metabolisms often go into hypoglycemic shock just because they skip a meal or had a rush, then crashed. Everyone I know knows now
wow, thats horrible! I have hypoglycemia too. They wouldn't be my friends anymore if they didn't take care of me. My old co-workers were more caring than that..... geeze.
strange film. the danger of being hypo is that people think that you're drunk or stoned. when i was a kid my mother wrote a letter - i.e. to the public - which i always carried around with me, and it explained what to do if i was incapacitated. i still have the letter in my wallet today. luckily, i still think i'm the only person who's ever read it.
I know how you feel i droped to 18 last night and i didnt faint it must be because i have a strong immmune system and when i was diagnoased with it i was 1234 and i wasnt in a coma and the docters thought i was 14-16 but i was really 11 but i feel sorry for you dude.
Just remember that if you DO get an IV push of glucagon..that you should eat something almost immediately afterwards. That shit wears off relatively quickly, and you'd just end up crashing again if you don't. Take care of yourself! Send me a message if you have any questions. I'm a "gold-mine" of answers, lol.
A blood sugar level of 0 would have meant "you're dead". The lowest MINE has ever been (I'm type 1 diabetic) was 3. This was by the time the ambulance got me to the ER of course. I took my regular dose of insulin that morning, but didn't quite eat what I'd planned on eating (which happened to be not enough, apparently)..so, long story short..too much insulin, not enough glucose in my blood = ER visit/me nearly dying.
Fucking hell John. Why didn't you tell us about this? I would've went and kicked all of them asses, if I had to go to dirty methods to get the job done. >[
That was 12 years ago. I now have Peripheral Neuropathy and something called Akathisia from all the nerve meds I take (it's like restless leg syndrome but all over your body). I now tell people that if you are diabetic, eat right and take care of yourself. I was really lucky.
Yeah, I have post prodial (after eating) hypoglycemia, which means that my pancreas takes a little time to warm up, but then when it does, it produces a HUGE burst of insulin, which breaks up the sugar far too quickly, resulting in a sugar rush, and then a sometimes fatal crash. To avoid that, I have to balance carbs with protein, so that the sugar is digested regularly instead of all at once. I also have pills I can take to slow my digestion and prevent that from happening.
I didn't, the paramedics came only after one of my friends got out of class and told them about my hypoglycemia. THen they put me on an IV and tried keeping my eyes open and trying to get me to respond to things, which made my blood sugar drop more. By the time I got to the hospital, I had 0 blood sugar, and if I didn't get a pack of AM 85 that instant, I would have died
You are VERY lucky. I am diabetic and know what just having a low BS of 60 feels like. I have never heard of a reading of 0, I didn't know it was even possible.
I have been lucky, I have never lost consciousness when I has happened. I always tell people that having low BS feels FAR worse than high. I hope you smacked the sh*t out of them.
They are no longer my friends, for other reasons as well. The doctors examining me at the hospital said that the 0 reading could have been an error, but you never second guess a low reading like that, but 2 minutes after they pumped me full of AM 85, the next test showed a blood glucose level of only 30, so that was purely the AM 85. If I had drifted off one last time before then, I would never have woken up.
I had an exact opposite. I was diagnosed diabetic when my parents took me to the ER. A few minutes after arriving I went unconcious. They found a blood sugar level of 981. I was in a coma for 2 weeks. The doctors have told me they don't know how I lived. Blood sugars around 700 become fatal. A blood sugar level like mine is nearly impossible. To this day they don't know how I'm still alive.
No Jesus, no God, just good parents and good doctors.
Choco, since the last posting I have lost a toe from the complications. But have since had the best control over my Diabetes. I have finally kicked my sugar addiction.
@bindiboi I'm sorry to hear about the toe, but Im glad you've been controlling your blood sugar better. Because of how ridiculous my pancreas reacts to sugar, I'm worried about getting diabetes myself, and I'm not sure how well I can handle that kind of intense management
hi man, sorry to hear of your bad experiance. I'm a type 1 Diabetic, i was diagnosed t 27.5Mmol, i dont know what these numbers you have here are, maybe another type of mesurement. I never heared of post prodial hypoglycemia before now, and well yea...
i havent had time to read all these comments, but did you not tell your mates that you suffer with post prodial hypoglycemia? thanks, wb

I know that buildups of sugar can result in the amputation of most commonly feet, but I'm surprised your body survived that long without insulin.

Bindiboi; you give praise to Jesus, for your being alive. We are very happy that you are alive.
