  • I forget, were they playing for BBC in this video, or...?

  • GEORGE IS SO AMAZING AT GUITAR!

  • Some think of what they say ,mean and do and sing it.

Some yoyo-moddafakka just move their bejuweled bacon to baseline nonstuff bets

and even others buy that as "new music of our age and times"

So what "They can't help it" . Time tells it ,not you not me.

So no other option to wait and see if you are still out of mind ...you'll might have to wait and ripe a bit. In the meantime :dance your ass off.

  • Love Pauls scream in the beginning lol.

  • George was an interesting sum of parts. He was very spiritual, but look how much fun he's having here. He had his struggles with his human frailties, but he knew what he liked and he kept his faith. John wound up rejecting the philosophy herein, because he rejected God as a force for good and decided radical left politics was the answer. I think George was on the right track; the philosophy herein was closer to the truth.

  • It is difficult to believe in these, wel,l just about half a million visits....to what I think is one of the best performances in the history of music!

  • i was born in the wrong time :(

  • @bulletproofheart49 you get to enjoy the music still and they had no internet then

  • I love Paul's shout

  • 230 years ago there was a revolution-remember?

  • 20 people that haven't survived the revolution.

  • 20 Fan the Justin Bieber

  • 20 people are content w/the current status quo

  • I think that George was the lead guitarrist.

  • The greatest band ever

  • @tomrbrown YES !!! The Greatest Band Ever !!! There was a Revolution going on and The Boys wrote a perfect song about it and their situation.

  • screw occupy.....

  • R.I.P. JOHN LENNON. MURDERED TODAY IN 1980.

  • the government wants the occupy to start getting violent, they are provoking it on purpose

  • 20 haters dont no wat real music is

  • 20 haters

  • @aaronkchollon i wound't say Hater i would call 'em musically challenged people :)

  • @aaronkchollon actually 20 dislikes out of 521,422 ain't bad at all sure the biebers and the gagas have gazillions of views check out how many dislikes :)

  • THIS AINT NO CHUCK BERRY

  • stop with the arguing and the profanity wow just listen to the song and understand what the lyrics are trying to send to you man

  • Occupy Revolution!

  • "WORLD" It's TIME TO "UNITE" and start a "WORLD-WIDE REVOLUTION" for the FREEDOM OF THE "ENTIRE PLANET!" WE MUST Understand how ONE Single group (Lennon Knew) have Stealthily and Deceivingly Taken TOTAL CONTROL of Virtually ALL the Worlds Major Industries, Banking and Governments; and of course the Powerful "WORLDS MEDIA" Where "THEY" Control the "INFORMATION" (PROPAGANDA!) Please read: wake-upbeforeitstoolate(dot)com and see, (if you don't already know) How WE have ALL been Massively Deceived!

  • Many of the Occupy movement have used a lot of anti-Jewish sentiments. Let's formulate what we are expecting and do it with love towards all. We have seen what even hateful words has gotten us. Give Peace a chance.

  • @desertbard

No! r kidding me right? (i was in OWS the other day I didn't see any anti-Jewish sentiments)

  • Let the people express thats what its all about!

  • To the OWS people.

  • revolution will come & when it does.....(oh look out! she came in thru the bath)....look at the wall street movement, yeh i know..... but it's a start, some people are just armchair revolutionaries others are out there saying 'we are fed up' with this bullshit of raping the workin' class......."but if you want money for people with minds that hate"........just give em a bailout courtesy us taxpayers.......

  • Every clip of a song with a wild keyboard solo, never shows the keyboardist. Evem Beatles does it. Wild Rhodes solo by the way.

  • @stonelenny Nicky Hopkins on this. He isn't a Beatle, I know.

  • Lazy wankers.

  • this is by far the bestest ever XD

  • I play bass

  • Cont me out all right

  • Ronald Regan!

  • left or right wing, its a great song...shame that people have fight over the politics in it.

  • @ParagramTree Are you talking about the American right? Assuming you are... you're dead wrong. Tune into a GOP Debate sometime.

  • Occupy this.

  • "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." JFK

  • @HoppoLOL said by the man who tryed to invade cuba by force and who's vice-president and successor pretty much established all the dictatorships in Latin America (normally by violent coups).

  • After the Tet Offensive, the Progressive Left was pressuring the Beatles, and especially Lennon, to give support publicly and financially to the attempts to incite violent revolution in the United States. This song was his response... a liberal leftist rejecting the Progressive methodology, going so far as to name Chairman Mao specifically (someone who is held up as a guiding light by modern progressives such as Ron Bloom, Anita Dunn, Cass Sunstein, Valerie Jarett, Vann Jones, etc.).

  • @sablephoenix its crazy they where that popular that lennons support could have made a difference

  • John is singing to the Occupy Wall Street Protesters.

  • FIRST EVER...HEAVY METAL......song...beatles made every GENRE....!!!

  • Revolution coming 2012

  • I'm glad that the Occupy movement hasn't resorted to violence - Our strength lies within remaining nonviolent, but not necessarily compliant. The police may resort to that, but we shouldn't. I hope we can get some positive change going without outrage turning into something ugly.

  • why isnt the audio from the actual performance?

  • When they sing "All Right" it kind of sounds like "Paul Died"

  • Italy, Leghorn, 19 October 2011, 650 students occupy own school in protest for the Gelmini's school revolution, in the moment when we stay out of the school, in the garden, a stereo play this song, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!

  • This is NOT the original version!

  • Comment removed

  • @Mikeski220123456789 actually i think that it's still the rhythm guitar that john's playing but it's leading in the song i think that because the rhythm guitar has that noisy screech sound

  • WE'D ALL LOVE TO SEE THE PLAN!

  • ..... WE love you, John!

  • It's the only song that I saw John play lead guitar for the Beatles

  • OCCUPY THE WORLD!!!

  • after he says "when you talk about destruction, dont you know that you can count me out?" he says "in" but its cut out. do your research. charles manson used to play that part over and over again to his followers while giving them acid, to show that the beatles forsaw and supported a violent revolution, and manson believed that he and his followers were to be the start of it. of course manson was not the start of the revolution, but the beatles message of wanting a violent revolution is true

  • @SukiSukiNiiNii Seriously, you are comparing him to a demented cult leader who brainwashed his followers to murder innocent people? You obviously relate more to Manson than Lennon.

  • @berenda01 did you even read my comment? im not saying that they are the same as manson. do your research moron. the beatles themselves admit to having two versions of the song, one why they say "dont you know that you can count me out?" and another where they say "in". this song is the one saying "out", but the vid shows him saying "in" its just been cut out.

  • @SukiSukiNiiNii Apparently you have way too much time on your hands...

  • @berenda01 look it up dipshit

  • good luck occupy wall street!!!

  • there is no other band like this, no band has had as much fans or at least people that know about them as any band EVER. the beatles are the best band ever

  • @BCONN96 the beatles are the best band, yes. but it's not important how much fans they have now, it's just important, that we can still listen to their music. having much fans doesn't mean the music is good. only in this case. but i still don't care, and i'm not angry that queen is now the most popular band on the world, i just love the beatles and their music ;)

  • I love this song!!

    REVOLUTION ! :D

  • Damn that guitar distortion tastes great.....

  • NO CONSERVATIVE OR RIGHT WING COMMENTS IN MY VIDEOS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :)

  • @jemmytaveras That's fine Jemmy...I am the biggest Beatle fan on the planet. You do know that John supported Reagan though? Peace

  • @jemmytaveras Nothing says right wing like peaceful revolution. Have you listened to the lyrics?

  • @Wile37Coyote

Thing is, there have been some very nasty comments that i had to delete from the right wing

  • @jemmytaveras I fully support deleting nasty comments. I would ask that you consider those people are more likely redneck A&^^%s and not conservatives.

Anyway, great tune, thanks for posting.

  • @jemmytaveras How tolerant of you ;)

  • @jemmytaveras What about from us pacifistic conservatives? Great song.

  • @jtbdaddy

if ur not gonna talk about politics its ok!

  • #OccupySD

  • 0:11 george: JOHN MIC'S SHIT!

  • i saw this live u were a stain in ur dad's skiveys

  • my fav beatles song next to norwegian wood

  • @L41295

heheheh you said wood :P (J.k i know its a song)

  • Considering that they had hung up their touring shoes by this time . . . it's cool to - AT LEAST - have this promo film of them lip-syncing a rock 'n' roll CLASSIC.

  • Having a peaceful revolution does not make you stupid and/or realistic. A lot of us protesters are not crack pipe users etc. Misconceptions abound.

  • ~~~~Civil Disobedience~~~

  • I find it funny that they're lipsyncing to what looks like Revolution 1 from the white album instead of this sped up version. Notice they're still singing 'Oh shoo be do wap" even though it's not in this version or how paul plays a bass line that only existed in Revolution 1.

  • @WaddleBuff

NO, To vote is a civil right that one can use to send a message to a government and if you do not use it you'll loose it!

  • @jemmytaveras It sends messages to the governments, yes. But does the government listen? Ask the millions of jobless people who have been waiting for a change, and I think the answer is no.

  • @WaddleBuff

LET ME PUT IT TO U IN A WAY IT WORKS, OR WOULD U RATHER LIVE IN A TOTALITARIAN REGIME?

  • @jemmytaveras Works? With no change coming from our voting, our government has already turned into a totalitarian regime is getting worse by the day.

  • @jemmytaveras you been listening to way to much glenn beck man, calm the fuck down

  • @Ragingsinep

Actually no, i hate Lonesome Rhodes Beck (Olbermann refrence) I just think people should appreciate a bit that we have democracy in this country

  • Revolution by John Lennon, he expressed his feelings about a "a Bloody Revolution" like Mexico, Czarist Russia, the French Revolution. which no one wants, we all loose. Join the WEB-OLUTION using the internet to wake up and unite People against the corporate elites, in a Peaceful revolution, evolution. Communism and the Berlin wall fell. The Celestine Professy and Eckart Tolle's book A New Earth, state that this is possible if we wake UP and Unite.

  • @TheLunaParty

Thing is! that many Webolucions as you call them are lead to liberate a people from their oppressors (Libya, Egypt, Tunisia etc) but this is not Communist East Germany or Poland we can't defeat those fat cats @ wall Street but if you really wanna do it, 1st beat their stooges (The Republican Party) then you got a free Hand to bring 'em down.

So This Election Don't vote Republican.

  • @jemmytaveras I agree the Republicans are corporate loyal to the Max. down with GOP-FOX!

  • @jemmytaveras No, avoid being in lockstep with anything or anyone. Think for yourself, don't be intimidated or coerced. Don't allow images of cool or not affect you. I'll vote the way I want and not for the incompetents in charge now. I am only worried that there is no competent people around at all anymore. We've become "Idiocracy."

  • @TheLunaParty The problem is that I can't see anyone or any comments that reflect any understanding of the real world. The destruction of "Wall Street" only means that there will be no economy at all, and the world would soon collapse into bloody anarchy. It might seem hip to say you're an anarchist, but it is not very smart or realistic. The song says, "We'd all love to see the plan, You say that it's the institution, better free your mind instead." Think, don't ape.

  • WALL STREET PROTESTS!!!!!

Seems like the beginnings of a new revolution!

  • Beatles Best- Before Bands.

  • Ironic that this song has even more importance now as it did in the 60's.

  • @checkmate778 lol,are you thinking what i,m thinking?(David cameron)

  • @checkmate778 that's the biggest bunch of bull i've ever heard. 32 people (so far) are full of it as well. #occupythis

  • @wantsomecoffee

Would you care to explain your conclusion?

  • @checkmate778 no. it's self explanatory.

  • @wantsomecoffee

Obviously it's not. Please enlighten us regarding what this song is really about.

  • my favorite thing about music is watching the performers having fun while playing. that is why i watch this video all the time.

  • I thought it was John who did that scream in the intro

  • It's Coming, these boys were way ahead of their time! Change The World! Free Your Mind!!

  • tap 3 he humps gutar

  • lol george actually says tat

  • Great song. Paul is playing left-handed.

  • i thought paul played left handed

  • Pause at 2:04. Never sleep again.

  • @GuitarHooker huh?

  • @GuitarHooker legit scared me

  • @LittleMormonThtCould ok dude lay down the crackpipe or the joint or the line of coke..

  • @jemmytaveras dude skip to like 2:03 and WATCH LENNON'S FACE

  • @jemmytaveras haha

  • @jemmytaveras i'm not laying down a joint for nobody just the crackpipe or coke

  • @GuitarHooker

that is funny shit,I can't look at it without cracking up

  • @GuitarHooker john lennon making a creepy face?

  • What kind of guitar used by George Harrison!!!Very nice guys i miss you...

  • Paul's audio is not working

  • lets start a peace revolution for john!!! stick it to the man now!!!!!

  • Stick it to the man, John!!!!

  • I just realized that I have the exact same spot on my forehead in the exact same area as John :O xD

  • modern music needs a revolution...

  • I like this version more than the single version.

  • Ironic really that britain needs to pay heed to the wisdom of this song now more than ever...beatles can do better job than david cameron

  • why the heck does john lennon look like an old lady?

  • If The Beatles would have been chosen as leaders, the world peace would have been achieved.

  • Like this if the Beatles are your favorite band in 2011 :)

  • @MeTheGleek The Beatles are my favorite band in every year....

  • What I noticed about this video is 1) were John and George's mike turned off? 2) I thought I heard a keyboard - who is playing it? 3) The last word "allright" sung, John isn't near his microphone. What's up?

  • @ghighigirl - The music is not live. They are singing live vocals over prerecorded music, which explains the piano and the fact that sometimes you see both John and George in strum mode while the lead guitar is still playing. I suspect those "alright"s at the end were left on the tape with the music as well for John to mime, as that would have been very, very close to the extreme limit of his vocal range. Trying to hit the limit of your vocal range live can lead to embarrassing results.

  • Best ever

  • I like this version alot better than the slow version. This is more upbeat.

  • Hey Paul is playing his first Hofner bass with the pickups closer together. He usually plays the other one.

  • Some one should take the intro from this version and tack it on to the mellow version just to fuck with peoples minds, lol

    but do it seamlessly.

  • apparently we are hardwired to hate each other no matter how caught up you are in your own illusion that pretends otherwise.

When I hear people talk pro social justice, anti racism, anti hate, pro this anti that,I am especially seeing hate, racism, injustice and hypocrisy like a neon clown in my pitch black room.

The only thing behind happiness is cold indifference ,how else does your bowl get filled and your enemies jailed or blown to bits.

  • does someone know what kind of fuzz did harrison use?

  • IN

  • I wish they weren't lip syncing :(

  • Comment removed

  • One day im gona change the world.

  • reaaaaaly??? some people dislike this song!!

  • Why can't music be like this now. Fuck new music.

  • Does anyone know why the version of this song is so slow on the White Album?

  • @tamartin43

'cause those are two different versions of the same song (it was John's Idea I think)

  • @jemmytaveras Thank you. Then which album is the faster version on?

  • @tamartin43

Past Masters (buy the New 2009 version of that CD its the best quality available or buy it on iTunes its ur choice)

  • @jemmytaveras Thanks so much! :D

  • Rather than an album, Revolution and Hey Jude were realsed as singles on a .45, those small records. they were recorded for the white album i belive. Either way, BEST .45 EVER! Also, it looks like they were singing the album version, and the single version was dubbed in. Note Paul and George mouthing the "shoo-be-do-wop" bit.

  • @tamartin43 The Blue Album

  • @tamartin43 This version is a single.

  • @tamartin43 It's on the album Hey Jude

  • @tamartin43 I believe the fast version was on the album Hey Jude. (Vinyl and Cassette Tape, but not CD's) jemmytaveras is right. You'll only find it on Past Masters

  • @tamartin43 it's a single

  • @tamartin43 - In the US the fast version was the B side of the single with "Hey Jude." It then appeared on "The Beatles Again," which is the actual name of the album that followed the white album and is more commonly known as "Hey Jude." Since then it has appeared on several compilation CDs.

As you likely already know, the official name of the white album is simply "The Beatles."

Of course, if you aren't in the US the albums were often different in other countries.

  • @TuberOnTheLoose WRONG!

The Beatles Again Was Hey Jude! (The album was called Hey Jude but the original name that Capitol wanted was The Beatles Again), and it was released in 1970 right after The Beatles broke up NOT after the White Album.

Now its true, The White Album's name is "The Beatles" but since its release in 1968 it is commonly know as The White album a name accepted by Beatles Historians and the Beatles Themselves

  • @jemmytaveras - You can say I'm wrong, but the copy I have on vinyl says "The Beatles Again" on the spine and on the label. The only place it says "Hey Jude" is in the song list.

  • @TuberOnTheLoose

then you have a VERY rare copy!

  • @TuberOnTheLoose - My copy was purchased as soon as it was released, although I never noticed that it said "The Beatles Again" on the spine until around '75 or '76 when I was looking for "Hey Jude" as I was searching through my albums in the record cabinet.

  • @tamartin43 The version on the White Album was the first one recorded, even though the single and faster version was released first. John wanted the White Album version released as as a single though both Paul and George weren't nearly as excited about this prospect claiming it was too slow (they were also leery due to its political nature). John was determined it would be a single so they recorded a faster version and it ended up as the flip side of "Hey Jude".
