Were you actually at the show? The original joke was that scousers don't have a sense of humour about themselves. Which came from him ripping Yorkshire in Leeds, and we all found it funny.

So yes it was funny, just because the start of the clip is halfway through doesn't mean it wasn't. The heckler proved him right and made a div of himself by trying to vault the fence to punch the guy.
