  • can you please make a video on how you taught your horse how to do these tricks, i would abosolutely love to try them on my welshie :D ? thaankyou x

  • I wish I had a friend like that

  • I love the way he love u!!

  • Love it!

  • ugh i can hear ur breathing and it is destracting me soo much i cant even concentrate on the horse! but that is so cool how well u trained him

  • could you possibly email me details about teaching these tricks?

  • Just fantastic...!

  • haha funny laugh :) great job! cute horse :)

  • Hahaha I love how frustrated he was with the walking thing, it reminded me of a toddler having a tantrum:D Such a cute horse, how'd you train him the yes and no thing?

  • How beautiful... what an amazing horse.. Like many others I'd do anything to work with one of my own.

  • It ain't no horse! It's a dog! Haha love it!!! Great work he's really adorable hihi

  • This is so sweet....completely love it, thanks.

  • How did you teach him that I am trying to teach my horse! Could you give me some poingters??

  • So cute ^^

  • thank you for all the lovely comments, im hoping to make a new, better video with more recent tricks in the near future.

with regards to your question on getting him to say yees,, this was simplly done by holding a treat down on his chest making him reach for it..all of these tricks were taught with kindness which is why he is so eager to do them.. even doing so when i dont even ask, as he knows he is pleasing me and always gets treated kindly and is i believe a happy pony.

  • How did you teach him to nod his head when you told him he was a good boy?

  • @xXMissGallopXx That's the one, thanks! :-)

  • why r u giving him treats while he has a bit on. Example of bad horsemanship!!

  • @olivermarkandmurphy Actually, no, not entirely true. He's not wearing the little strap at the bottom of the nosetack (Not sure what it is called in English, in Dutch it's the 'sperriem'), which means his mouth is not impaired from chewing. The bit lays on the part of the mouth where the horse naturally has no teeth, so, as long as his-her chewing is not impaired, it is not dangerous to feed a horse some treats (of course, you have to clean the bit thoroughly after!)

  • @olivermarkandmurphy The bit and treats is not a problem! Its tall grass you don't want them to eat when the grass can get wrapped around the bit and choke them... but treats... are no problem... :)

  • hahahaha thats so cute

  • hes like a freaking DOG O.O

  • i don't get why you'd want to teach your horse to do the spanish walk, surely its just a good way of teaching him to strike you by accident and it can't be very useful...?

  • @HaystackGirl37 I think it was boredom...? o.O

  • amazing video, Im blown away by you two! When you had him doing the little rears, Were you just telling him to do the spanish walk, but with both legs at the same time?

  • What a good horse! <3

  • THAT IS FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!! your amazing! how did you teach him all that!

  • i have yet to see a horse do a backflip

  • this is too cute!

  • he is so cute :)

  • how can people seriously dislike that, its soooo cute !

  • could you breath any louder?

  • @emandshell is there any need to be THAT cheeeeky?

  • That is sooooo cool!

    AND really cute!

  • oh wow!!!!!! Thats amazing! especially sitting down and nodding!!! How do you get that trust and knowledge from a horse!!? I was amazed at ur video! :)

  • Why would you turn a horse into a dog?

  • @ImaginedWriter why not have a close relationship with your horse like you do a dog? why is that so strange...they are not machines, each has personality and is individual, and they like to be kept interested and stimulated..! were not in medival times anymore

  • What a beautiful and intelligent horse!

I'm so jealous of your bond(:

  • How do you teach them to bow? i'm teaching my welsh a, but don't know how to get her down on her knee??xxx

  • @horseandpony100 lift one leg, feed carrots and lean them back, got mine to do by accident other day while pickin feet, so i rewarded immediately, however i can see all of this getting a bit confusing at times like, with farrier, and a horse that keeps bowing when you pick up a foot, id coincide it with a tap on back of leg, and finally move away from picking up the foot at all let them get down on one knee on thir own with an instructional tap to back of that knee with stick..:)

  • @sorcha24 Thankyou.x

  • what a lovely bond!<3

  • Thanks for your comments, If it helps there is a good book from America by Carole Fletcher explaining how to teach these and many other tricks . Im lucky i have a willing pony that seems keen to learn and picks things up easily..Apparently the the irish horses are renown for easy teaching...? I have to say he is a little gem and always tries his very best for me.

  • Please can u emaill me at princess-steph-xox1@hotmail.co.uk on how u did all of this please x

  • He is so cute when he sits. But it looks like someone needs a bath lol.

  • Wow

  • how do you teach them to sit?

  • You did such a good job training him I love his energy

  • this made my day, he is so cute!

  • You are both delightful. I enjoyed your partnership and your happy horse.

  • Please email me on how to do that you and your horse are absolutely amazing!! How long did it take you to teach him all those and what methods did you use? Thats totally awesome!!!

  • oh my goodness could you please message me how you trained him to do that? Id like to train my horses to do that

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Your Awsome!!! <3 x

  • hi there. sitting is a bit tricky, I trained him with carrots, and basically as he put his front legs out to get up, feed him carrot there first...so he doesnt rush to get up..when after he is comfortable and in no hurry gradually raise to carrot so he comes up on his feet!!! sounds easy, but i think i was just lucky with him..

  • @scattyscarlett get him to sit on ur lap! lol

    id do it!! hahaaa

  • Such pretty horse! awesome tricks. I taught my mini horse to lay down but I'm not sure how to get him to sit up and stay there after he lays down. He immediately gets up. Could you tell me or make a video on it if you have extra time? Thanks!

    -Allie

  • i love when the horse is sitting

  • how did you teach him that

  • @perfectstorm101 hi there, I taught him in the winter when grass is sparse, and he will do anything for a carrot. Lots of repetition. Also rewarding at the right time, and catching them doing stuff naturally, especially the lay down.. Good luck, .

  • @scattyscarlett hi could you tell me watch the book is called

  • Pony, haha, he's a MONSTER:) He reminds me of my boy, about the same stage. Isn't it great fun?

  • Cute.

  • great video sharon, he is such a good boy!!! x

  • Fantastic little pony!
