this song inspired me to write a new book called crimson alert you will probably never see it because its amature work but ill try my hardest to get it published
Oh my god.....mom, apple pie, chevrolet, and Tommy James. I wore the 8 track out parking on a Saturday night with my girl Janelle. She is gone, but Tommy remains. Awesome

Excellent find! . Either that or the drummer wearing headphones is deaf?! Kind of a cheezy rendition of the original song anyway. Ha!
I didn't like the song in 1968. I considered it too simplistic and it didn't say much except the yearning for a girl. How foolish I was. Those are the strengths of the song. I love it and just learned it. (That didn't take long, lol.)
I would like to know the Spanish translation of Crimson and Clover, here in Mexico it was translated "Trebol y Carmesi" but this is a literal translation, I believe that there is a metaphor... help pls
I am from guatemala city, my english is not good but i want to say that this song is the hotests one i ever heard. i love u guys. Son expectaculares y nunca me canso de oir su música.
This is a rare example of a live performance blowing away the original studio version. I never cared for this song until I heard this version. The strong vocals and great guitar solo here take this song to a new level. Tommy was one of those guys who actually got better with age.
This was the first song I ever learned how to play, yes I'm old,but nothing will ever replace the 60's and 70's. Thanks Tommy James for all the great music you have made.you still sound like you did in the 60's.
Tommy James still knows how to rock.He sounds like he did in the 60's. If you never have ever seen him perform you have missed out on one of the great Icon's.
Awesome. Great rock'n'roll. I have been looking for a copy of the DVD, but the best I can find is about $120.00 for a used one. Does anyone know where I can buy a new copy for a decent price?
The music is great but they need to trash the guitarist and bassist to find some people who can play with feeling rather than flash. this is a feeling song and the guitar solo should be that way sometimes less is more.
now THEY are what music is all about...class...feeling...singing and guitar and bringing a smile to the people!!!Right ON baby :-)Thanks for posting :-)
These guy's know how to sing good rock & roll. They have allways been a favorite of mine and with soooooooo many great songs. Brings back memories when they made good music.
@casper1918 That's the point, Tommy has been singing this for 42 years and it still sounds awesome, how many of todays artists will they be saying that about ?
my age group was supposed to like Joan Jett's version better; but the ORIGINAL is always the best, as Tommy & the gang proves here..

Tommy still sounds pretty darn good. He is pitch perfect on a sound that sounds remarkably contemporary.
